Excellent way to get your steps in, at a sweetprice.
Great way to get some extra steps in. I love how simple and effective this stepper is for the price. Working graveyards in healthcare I wanted to get extra steps in as the steps I was doing day shift was probably at least 5x more and my body was feeling the difference. The resistance is nice once you turn the dial up, feels like walking in quick sand to me. I actually bought one of these a few months back for work because it was so small it could be tucked away on a shelf there. Now I have one at home as well to step on while I'm watching TV. Great product, price, delivery, loved that it was no assembly too.

A compact way for this old person to maintain strength in legs
As an old person (now over 80), I've begun to have pain everywhere. I don't use doctors or meds. I'm finding most of my issues are strength related. So now I climb a couple hundred steps on this thing daily... and it's really working to build up my legs and reduce that pain. It's compact. I just slide it under my desk. And when watching YouTube videos, I pull it out and climb. Works for me. And for the price, it's amazingly well built... and simple. I thought I was going to have to make a gadget to hold on to but I'm finding with time it's improving my balance and the clever straps they have for that purpose are proving adequate. It's a good value and perfectly suits my need.

Something the website does NOT tell you.
I purchased the classic style of this stepper. Here is something the website does NOT tell you but is found in the manual. It says “ Do not use the stepper for more than 15 minutes as the hydraulic cylinders may overheat and become damaged. Allow at least 30 minutes rest in between sessions.” I like the quality that I see in this stepper. For me at 118 lbs it’s sturdy and very easy to move around. Extremely easy to get it assembled. I don’t like assembling things so this was perfect. Less than 5 minutes and was ready to go. When this was delivered it was extremely cold weather and was outside for a few hours in the snow and wind. At first I could hardly get the stepper peddles to move down more than at a turtle slow motion pace. I let it set till it became room temperature and it was fine. Not sure if I would have purchased the stepper if I had known the 15 minutes on and 30 minutes off as it suggests. But perhaps that is why my previous two small steppers of other brands over the years started squeaking or clicking. This one as of now is totally silent. I will stick with the suggestion of 15 minutes on and 30 off and hopefully it will stay that way. If it starts clicking or squeaking afterfollowing the suggestions I will definitely be back to update this. Thanks

Easy to use; great workout
I just bought this last week and have used it 4 or 5 times so far. I love it! It was easy to set up, and it comes with helpful instructions for assembling and using the device. It gives you a good walking workout if you can't or don't want to walk outdoors, making it very convenient to use while watching TV. The red knob allows you to adjust the range of motion to give you a smaller or larger step. I have the red knob set to the maximum range of motion to give me a larger step, but just keep in mind that your step count won't be as high as if you set the knob to a smaller range of motion. I have not yet used the app, as I'm a person that doesn't like to have to download an app and create an account for everything. But, I have been very pleased with the built-in computer screen on the machine, as it seems to do an effective job of tracking my steps taken, calories burned, and amount of time spent on the machine. Plus, it is also very easy to reset the computer at the end of your workout by simply pressing and holding the small red button on the screen. The machine seems to be durable and high-quality, so I expect that it should last for a while. Given the price, I'm not expecting this to last for years, but it seems to be a decent piece of workout equipment for the low price it is. I strongly recommend wearing shoes while using the machine, as opposed to using it in socks or bare feet. You'll likely slip if you just wear socks, and you may hurt your feet and toes if you use it in bare feet. If you misstep while getting onto the machine, it can hurt your feet. Don't make the same mistake I did, and be sure to wear shoes! :)

BUY IT NOW
I give it 100 stars! Dont let the price fool you this is a very sturdy well made piece of equipment. Instructions come with a barcode for you to scan with your phone in order to get the app. The app actually, remotely gives you different workouts and allows you to track your work. You can feel it getting harder or easier as you step. This is not easy, I was sweating and sore immediately. I cant wait to see what it does for my butt. Dont hesitate, if you need to get your steps in and want an at home workout that will actually challeng you, get it. I highly recommend the twisting option. Dont be afraid of this, it just makes it more comfortable and keeps you feet from falling asleep. A must.

Okay… but not a realistic fitness machine for day to day
I got this as an alternative to getting a traditional treadmill or stair master for my home. Little background, I workout at 6:30am at local gym by my house every morning. I weight train 5 days a week and usually do 20 minutes of cardio on the stair master afterwards. Altogether I’m at the gym for 2- 3hrs each morning (don’t be impressed I take like 2-3 minute rest between heavy lifts, sometimes even more. I also do a 10 minute warm up, 15minute cool down and 20-25minutes of cardio). It’s realistic for my current work situation but will not be something I can maintain when work picks up. Hence why I am looking for an alternative option for cardio that I can split towards an after dinner walk or 1hr lunch break walk. This would cut my morning time at the gym by 45 minutes to an hour. What I like about this stepper is a pretty short list. It’s burns almost as many calories as being on a stair master when set to the highest step level (I got the adjustable height one), it’s low impact on your knees and doesn’t make me feel as exhausted cardio vascular wise as being on an actual stair master. Assembly is also super easy, it’s small an easily stored, counts your steps and can be set pretty much anywhere to workout. My dislikes however are deal breakers. I HATE how slippery this machine is. With sneakers my feet slide around. Without sneakers my feet slide around. I’m constantly adjusting my feet position. It’s the most irritating situation to deal with when try to workout I’ve ever experienced. It’s distracting while trying to workout. I have decent balance and this machine gives me a run for my money. There is a version of this with a handle bar and in my opinion that would be the only thing to make this machine worth owning. I’m not about to pay $30-$40 more for a handle bar sorry. I rather pay the extra $200 for the actual treadmill. I think that this machine would be worth the price if the anti slip grips on the foot pedals and made the pedals longer because your feet are going to hang off if your over a women’s size 9. Unless you want to spend your entire workout sliding around, attempting to keep your balance I’d skip this one. It’s not worth it. I gave it 3 stars solely based on the fact that it is a good workout if you can deal.

What a workout!!
This stepper machine is absolutely fantastic! Has a very small footprint so it does not take up a ton of space, I love that it also has the resistance band so I can not only work on my legs but my arms as well! Came pretty much assembled, all I had to do was put the little turn knob on the front and make sure that the police string was in place and we were good to go! The steps have some pretty significant resistance so it will definitely give you quite the workout, once I hit the 50 to 60 step Mark I was really feeling the burn! Very sturdy build, made of quality materials, if you are looking into exercising again, or for the first time, I definitely recommend this as it's very easy to get into- you can put this in front of your TV and work out while you watch your favorite show, movie, or playing a video game even. Absolutely terrific value for what all you are getting!

You Will feel the burn so you know it's working
This is a real review. To start, I HATE exercising! I'm in a compact space right now and it's -3• and my Dr said I need to build muscles. After doing a ton of research between this and the Rock side stepper they said this impacts way more muscles so I ordered this particular machine based on reviews ect.. I received it and the only assembly is the resistance bands and putting on the tension knob so easy. Now for MY initial workouts I'm at an easy resistance so I'm able to get used to it then go harder. If you want a good leg/glute workout then lean forward, ever rest elbows leaning on the counter and you WILL feel the burn on your hamstrings and glutes, it's working! You can also do a crazy 8 motion with your hips, twist your waist, dance ect...to add more to your workout - in other words be creative. Right off the bat I'm able to do 30 minutes or do three 15 minutes to make it 45. I dread exercising but this has made that feeling much less and I know I'm going to see results. I wrote this while using the machine, not that easy but it made the time go faster.
