ACDelco Gold 252-711 (88926225) Engine Water Pump

Ordered this water pump for my 99 yukon with 350. Fit just like stock and works flawlessly. Bolted right up with no issues and does the job it's meant to do. Would recommend to anyone.

es! this is the way you would like things too look like Brand new and working,,,on the other hand i recieve my friont breaks to my S10 too my very surprise the box when open was empty,,so the process of returning an emty box and then having too buy the same breaks again ,,what was unual is that ! all the small boxes we ever get have this tape going across the opening this box didnt so it may have fell out of the box in the truck the driver was using ??

This water pump was a third of the price as the retail automotive stores were selling it for. I installed it on a 1998 Chevrolet C1500 with a 4.3l engine and it fit perfect. Despite other reviews, the product i received was a verified OEM AC Delco water pump. You can tell by the AC Delco box it came in and the stamping on the water pump. It came with the required gaskets needed for the installation. The gaskets supplied do not require any RTV sealant. The installation was fairly easy for any person with just a little mechanical aptitude. The only issue i had with the installation was getting the fan loose. I removed the radiator shroud for extra space and i went the extra step of removing the alternator for easier access to hose's. I was able to remove the fan by weaving a metal hangar through two holes in the pulley and wrapping it around the alternator bracket. I then used a crescent wrench and hit it with a rubber mallet. I tried the ratchet strap method and it just slipped around the pulleys. The hangar through the pulley holes was extremely simple and did not risk damaging other components of the pulley system. All in all it was fairly easy ans saved me a fortune. I was quoted $375 to have it repaired by a local mechanic.

Perfect fit. My heater is working perfectly again. Went into my 1999 savanna, 5.7 liter. The original lasted over 400,000 km and 24 years.

Amazon says it doesn’t fit my truck … it fit and it’s on there and running fine and was actually a delco part for $118 bucks … very good … fix your fitmet, … 40 yrs as a mechanic is the only reason I figured it was the correct one for my truck
