It's what it looks like but feels cheap.
It's what it looks like but it's all printed on to some plasticky type of fabric. The pockets, patches ect are flat. You end up looking like you're just some guy in a gray jumpsuit. The movie isnt as big with the younger crowd I guess. stock up on fake mustaches, they dont stay sticky for long. It should be about $15-20 cheaper and I dont think people would be as dissatisfied when you get it.

Hot Take on Hot Rod
It was the perfect costume for my son. The material was what you would expect, cheap but slightly durable, but it was perfect for a 10 year old. The fit was great and the looked close enough to the real costume that those who had seen it knew who he was!

Oh god it’s bad
It reminds me of children’s pajamas but gives me an all-around feeling of sadness. The material is that cheap shiny costume fabric that looks like it would sit in a landfill while my great grandchildren explore Mars. Every detail is drawn into the flowy loose fabric including the pockets and patches. It is basically just one giant silk onesie with a cape. I’m surprised it didn’t come with those attached shoe covers in kids’ costumes that look like Uggs. Even the “buttons” are velcro. I’m sending it back to hell where it belongs. Save your money and buy regular blue coveralls and spray paint the stars on.

The size chart wasn’t correct. And for $50 I’d expect something better than micro-thin spandex. The cape was the only real worth in buying the outfit and I probably could’ve just made that. To make matters worse I tried contacting the seller through Amazon to get a bigger size so I didn’t have spandex riding up my ass and they never answered. I mean I know it’s Halloween season but c’mon. Kinda ruined the costume for me. Might as well make your own for better results
