Wow, Kaneyama Furikake Asian Seasoning (Nori Sesame) has totally transformed my cooking! I’m obsessed with this seasoning—I sprinkle it on everything! Not Correctly Measured...
I am a fan of the viral sushi bakes, and have used Trader Joe's Furrikake for awhile, and came across this brand when my last bottle of TJ brand ran out. This brand has a more fishy aroma/flavor, but less seasoning/seaweed flavor to me (which I personally enjoy the seaweed flavor more), but at the price I thought it was good. My latest S&S order came and I noticed immediately that the bottle was halfway filled. I still had a previous bottle of the seasoning in my pantry - weighed both and as you can see the non-sealed one which I had in my pantry was 95g (bottle stated 75g by weight, so I assume the bottle def adds quite a bit of weight), but my new unopened bottle was 86g. Mind you, I have done a few large commercial style trays of sushi bake with this stuff... so when it came originally it could've been more like 110g. But this new bottle was laughable at best... and at $7/bottle, a bit high. Will be cancelling the subscription as 1) the flavor was not my favorite, and 2) the lack of product by weight along with the price makes it too much for what it is.
