Miss Jessie's Coily Custard Unisex Emulsion 8.5 oz

This is a gel-like consistency, as opposed to some of the other Miss Jessie’s products which are cream-like. I like to use this after using the Multi Cultural Cream to make everything more consistent and smooth. It helps keep moisture in my hair so the mid-day frizz doesn’t happen. It has a slight but pleasant scent to it, and doesn’t leave a residue on your hands when readjusting hair. It comes out a bit fast and you really don’t need much, so just be careful when applying so you don’t waste any excess product.

Absolutely my favorite curly hair custard! Helps control frizz and a little goes a long way. Easy to apply and style into my hair. Not sticky unless I pair it with an oil, but not on its own. Makes my hair very shiny for days without it being naturally oily. My hair is defined for days.

The product creates a nice, soft cast that holds my curls in place but doesn't feel crunchy at all, even though I used a generous amount. Some reviews mention crunchiness, but I haven’t experienced that at all—just soft, moisturized curls with zero frizz. The best part is that it doesn't make my hair heavy or greasy, just perfectly moisturized and full of life. If you're on the hunt for a product that enhances curl definition while keeping hair soft and bouncy, I highly recommend Miss Jessie's Coily Custard!

I use a gel after applying to really lock it into my curls. I think I'm 2C. Anyway, this stuff rocks for definition and minimizing frizz. I'm in the South so humidity is my roommate. Obviously nothing fully protects you from humidity but I think this does a good enough job with a little support from your preferred gel or hairspray. Super light weight! Runny, aloe vera gel type of texture but thick enough so you know it's going to hang on tight. Try it out for yourself!

OMG, my wife absolutely loves this stuff for her curly hair, too! It really helps define her curls and keeps them from getting frizzy. She's tried so many products, but this one is a total game changer. I highly recommend it if you have curly hair! It's the best thing ever.

It does make your hair very curly, it really does define your curls, however it makes your hair kind of stiff which I'm not too keen on and it kind of feels gooey before its dried..... it's ok, but if there was a better alternative I would go for that.
