Smelled bad. Almost sour

I have tried multiple products by this company and love them so I assumed this would be no different. Personally I was disappointed in this. I expected a lip gloss and for the price I expected better performance than something I could whip up in my kitchen. Definitely was not worth the high pricetag in my opinion. First of all the smell... Very pungent but not only does it smell, it tastes bad too. If you've ever used the curoxen wound ointment, it smells just like that... I really tried to like it or at least tolerate it, but because of the viscosity of it (very thin and watery) it just bleeds into your mouth and all over your teeth and tongue and doesn't stay on lips like every other lip product I've ever used. If you happen to burp? You will taste it again... Very bizarre. I did not find it moisturizing at all either. I had to apply another lip balm within minutes. I'm no stranger to herbal and natural products but this one was sadly a miss for me and I returned it. I couldn't give it 1 star because I'm sure there are others who would like this, but I think it's advertised as something it's not. It was not for me. Their chocolate ruby blushing balm pot is much much better and a better color too.

The reviews almost stopped me from buying this product. I think Living Libations products are extraordinary on every level and this lip gloss is no different. Finally something nourishing and healthy for my lips that has just a hint of color It's perfect ! I personally love the taste - it takes like Ozone- but I can understand why not everyone does.

I have a lot of other products of this brand and never never was dissatisfied. But this is just terrible, the smell is awful 😣

They have other great products but this doesn’t hit the mark. Really gross. It took me four tries to wash this taste out of my mouth. Plus, it isn’t a gloss it’s a liquidy oil that drips down your lips.

I tried this on my lips but didn’t love it so I use it on my cheeks like a stain and that works a lot better. I will say tho that it smelled a bit rancid. I know when you order directly from living libations your product is made to order. I don’t know how long this product has been sitting around.

Oh god tastes so awful

I bought this product from their website but my review was taken down, so I'll put it here instead to warn others. Gross product- weird smell, tasted awful and had a watery like consistency. I contacted them about the issues I was having with the product and they said that 's the way the product is. Ended up having to throw it out. Total waste of money!
