They are really made well and a great design to fit my chair, the up & down/back & forth/tilt options are really nice. They can be used for gaming or moved out of the way for guitar practice.

The replacement mounting brackets and armrest had the same mounting holes as the original chair. This mean only the pillar was used, making this a very quick installation. There was a slight difference that should be pointed out. To allow the armrest adjustment, the inside relies on hard plastic, unlike the original which uses metal components. This does lead to the question on the longevity if the armrests will be constantly adjusted.

Very easy to install, great value, comfortable.

If you are on the heavy side, these might not be for you. One of them broke when i got up and used tbe arm rest as a way to push my self up. If you are on tbe light side or dont struggle to get up on your own, they are a good buy but if you weight 170 or higher you risk on breaking the arm rest if you use it as a platform to push yourself up.

Added these to a drafting chair for my sewing room. Added some braces as the chair didn't have any. Works well.
