Goetia - Tarot in the Darkness: 78 full colour tarot cards and instructions

Although the artwork is a bit too dark to appreciate the details in the cards, I still do love the energy of this tarot deck. I do wish that the guidebook contained a deeper description of all the demons but alas it would be too large a book. This is a wonderful deck for those who like demonology, but I would recommend only for experienced tarot readers.

This deck is so beautiful,I haven’t found it to dark.The cards are sturdy and high quality,one of my favorite decks.

I absolutely love the artwork on this deck! The signs and planets are extremely helpful for the insight on my readings!

Love this deck, I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about when they say it's hard to read... unless you're trying to use it by candlelight the cards have plenty of contrast and are full of traditional rider-waite symbols. Even with cutting down this deck the major arcana and pip cards are easily identifiable.

I can't even lie. I love Goeteia and stand by it so I love the deck and the idea. But you can't read anything on here bc the color scheme is so dark. They really are hard to read. Also mine did not come with the instruction booklet so i have no idea what some of the numbers and stuff mean,.

absolutely beautiful deck. i was worried based on previous reviews but all my worries were put to rest once these cards were in my hands. the artwork – stunning. there is some nudity but it's tastefully done in my opinion, and is pretty balanced between genders unlike other decks. loaded with symbolism. i was hesitant about buying a monochrome deck as i like to interpret colour, but the aesthetic and attention to detail here pretty much negates it. the card stock is sturdy, and it's one of my bigger tarot decks in terms of card size. shuffles great nonetheless even with my small hands. the guide book is very unique, and gave me a run-down of an alternative way to use the deck, which is like a 2-in-1; 72 of the cards each represent a demon (and there's a handy little table in the book that tells you what they represent/deal with). there's planetary and zodiac associations on the side of the card too to add further depth to the reading. i hadn't even gotten through half of these cards and i rushed here to write a review. i never leave reviews, but this deck and artist deserve it. brilliant. the accuracy was insane, and the level of extra detail provided by researching the demon the cards represented is what made the reading spot-on and special. i've never seen something like this from a deck before. buy it.
