I have a mobile dj business and use jbl speakers for everything, I bought the ds18 compression drivers for 2 of my speakers, they are crisp and LOUD. very happy and surprised with the quality. Will definitely buy again when my other jbl drivers fail.

What a difference these horn make!!! Please use the proper crossover settings!!!

Installed and abused for two shows and made cheap peavy speakers sound as good the fenders we use.

I used these as a replacement driver in a set of Peavy PR15 neodymium cabinets. I also had to replace the crossovers with these crossovers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0995JXKZH which required the final 4 ohm resistor in the tweeter circuit to be bypassed. Once all of that was done these tweeters sound fantastic in this application and handled all the power I gave to them without issue.
