Campingaz Camp Bistro Stove, 1 burner, camping stove, 2200-watt capacity, compact outdoor cooker, includes carry case for easy transport

Firstly I must say that I use a portable gas cooker rather than a traditional electric cooker, just me saving myself some money. For the past six years I have used a similar product to this and it has served me extremely well (Go System) but last week the electric ignition failed, still usable but have to light with a lighter. Decided to buy this CampingGaz version (which I consider to be the original). Delivery was great and unpacked in around two minutes, gas cartridge system is safer than the other one I have and when I fired it up I was blown away in a great way! The power output is definitely superior to my older one, and I cooked up a bacon and egg breakfast this morning and it's like using a traditional gas cooker. It comes ready assembled and the cooking surface area is slightly larger than my old one which I'll adapt to with use. The carry case is solid plastic which may be of interest to anyone using it on camping trips. So my first impression is a great little cooker that's easy to use and easy to clean. I recommend highly!

I purchased two of these, instead of a single double-burner stove, as the double-burners tend to be overpriced, and too large as a single unit; not only for storage purposes, but also when trying to find a single large enough area to operate them. These arrived well packed, free from defects and with good user & safety instructions. These stoves appear to have been manufactured with a good compromise between build quality, weight and with a well-finished appearance and good stability. I was particularly impressed by the various safety elements incorporated into the stove itself; especially its 2no. overpressure lockout sensors with reset button: Also the pan supports, which have short vertical stubs preventing the placement of oversize pans above the gas chamber, which could lead to overheating of the gas cannister and valve chamber. Even the carry case has its own safety mechanism, preventing storage of the stove with a gas cannister left connected. Installing a gas cannister was straightforward - just take care that the cannister is correctly aligned and orientated as shown on the additional enclosed safety notice in the chamber. Ignition operated flawlessly. I was also pleased with the gas flow control knob, which operated smoothly, providing good flame control from minimum through to maximum. After use it was easy switching off and removing the gas cannister; but you must not be in a hurry packing it away and moving on, as it does take quite a while for the burner and pan supports to cool down enough to stow away in the plastic case. A tip for replacing the stove back into its carry case: The inside of the case with the 2no bars across is the top lid of the case, and should drop down onto the top of the stove, with the stove front facing the case handle. You will see the case safety device sitting just below the gas cannister lever, preventing the lever from being in the down closed position. All-in-all these are good stoves: If keeping for emergency use, then remember to get a good stock of butane gas cannisters, as at maximum 2.2kW heat output, they are quoted as lasting 1hour 15mins, probably much less in cold weather, so judicious use will be required. Bear in mind the need for adequate ventilation and a suitable audible carbon monoxide detector / alarm, if not being used outdoors.

Absolutely superb. Weighs nothing. Heats well. Very windy and stayed lit. Easy to use. Only critique. Some rival products have space in the carry case for some gas canisters. That would make it 5/5 but still a good product.

This was for my daughter, we have had one of these for our trips by car to Portugal for years, great to get a brew on and to cook a quick meat.

Bigger and sturdier than cheaper models, easy to use and control the flame. Only downside is that the hob can't be removed for cleaning. Good value for money

Cracking little stove in a very nice carry case. I have only tested it the once and it was very efficient in boiling a kettle. Got it for indoor use in case of power cuts. Instructions in about 20 languages so cut out the relevant 4 pages of 80 plus. It looks really smart and sturdy. Simple set up. To cut a long story short, align the groove on the gas cylinder ring with the tab in the stove while the slider is in the unlock position then move it to lock. Turn the dial to ignition and you are setup.

Purchased to be part of my blackout/power cut kit. A quality single gas ring burner that is easy to set up and use. A very nice carry/storage case is included, just need to buy the gas canisters. Highly recommended.

Flesjes erbij gekocht, elders op internet. Veilige bevestiging. Apparaat ging goed aan en ging weer goed uit. Staat nu netjes in zijn handige plastic opbergkoffer te wachten op uitval van de elektriciteit :) Wel een overdaad aan instructies in het boekje. Heb een kopie gemaakt van de relevante instructies en ben eerst maar eens gaan onderstrepen. Het viel mij tegen dat geschreven stond dat het apparaat eigenlijk niet geschikt is voor binnen koken. Dat betekent: koken voor een open raam, of in de tuin. Ik heb gekozen voor Camping Gaz en heb de goedkopere Chinese apparaten links laten liggen. Voor dat tientje verschil heb ik liever de veiligheidsgaranties van een Camping Gaz.

Die Bestellung kam zügig und vollständig hier an. Dieser Campingkocher/ -grill ist sehr praktisch, wenns mal schnell gehen muß. Hatte bereits 2 Geräte vorher. Der Preis war fair und die Einsatzmöglichkeiten sind vielfältig - also immer wieder gerne.

Ho acquistato il Campingaz Camp Bistro 3 Fornelli e ne sono davvero soddisfatto. È un fornello comodo e utile, ideale soprattutto per chi, come me, ama cucinare sul balcone o in spazi esterni ridotti. È leggero e facile da trasportare, quindi perfetto anche in campeggio, in tenda o in gite fuori porta. L’installazione è semplice e intuitiva: si collega rapidamente la bomboletta e si è pronti a cucinare in pochissimo tempo. La pulizia è un vero punto di forza: i piani si smontano facilmente e si puliscono senza fatica, rendendo tutto molto pratico dopo l’uso. La potenza del fornello è buona. In sintesi, il Campingaz Camp Bistro 3 è un ottimo fornello portatile: facile da usare, leggero, pulito senza stress e perfetto per cucinare all’aperto o sul balcone. Consigliatissimo!
