The XTAR SP100 Solar Panel feels solid and well made. There are two panels that fold in half and it snaps together with magnets for storage/transportation. There are two adjustable legs for obtaining the best angle to the sun. The output cable which is attached to the rear of the panel inside the zipper pouch is almost 10 feet long, this length makes it helpful for connecting items away from the panel. The connector on the cable is compatible with my Jackery 240 Portable Power Station. There is a separate USB charger box that connects to the end of the 10’ DC output cable. This is nice since you don’t have to hassle with connecting USB items to the back of the panel (like other portable solar panels). For securing the panel in windy conditions there are grommet holes in each corner.

I thought that it included the Mc4 adapter but it did not. Only the 8mm. To order the adapter, it is $20. Also, to return this, I have to pay for shipping. NO FREE RETURN! For this price, I would think it would include all the adapters. There were NO adapters included. They just issued my refund. The seller is very responsive.

THE BEST power output from a 100w solar panel. And I have tried several including full framed ones. Yes it is pricy and mine did not include any extra cable or adaptors. Just a panel (and about 6ft of cable) and a DC to DC charger. It generated up to 111 watts of free energy!! With $39 cheap10A MPPT controller, my 100 Ah lithium battery was charging at 7.6 Ah. Portability and the amount of power output, it's well worth the money. Still generated pretty decent amount of power on a cloudy day here in WA. And yes, proper angle to the sun does make a difference.

Best output when they work. Keep dying after 6 hours charging a jackery. I have not had any luck with these panels. Maybe bad batch?
