It definitely looks the part, and it's solid. Fairly easy to put together but 2 holes on the front of mine were too big for the screws so I adapted with glue on the dowels. No biggie. The downside..... if your cats are as absolutely useless as mine, they need a big litter tray with high sides as they tend to stand inside the tray and aim their rear towards the outside. I've bought 4 different trays since buying this and they're either too big for the door to close, or too small so the bottom of the unit has to be cleaned daily because the wee goes over the side. Not great, especially if it's left and dries into the wood. I initially put some waterproof fablon in it to prevent any damage, but still needed cleaned daily. However!!! By sheer good fortune, Asda home delivery substituted a plastic storage box I ordered to store cat food in for a slightly larger one, and it's absolutely perfect! A "Wham 37ltr crystal" box fits exactly right and the sides are high enough to catch any spillage. Obviously you have to cut a section out of the front to allow for the gap deep enough for the litter), but thats a 2 minute job. (I got a bit chop happy with a handsaw on mine hence the foam padding, lessons learned just to use a sharp knife next time) So, it's a nice piece of furniture, hides an essential hindrance, good space on top to put a cushion or scratching mat for them to sit on, but it's not without a bit of faff to be of practical use.

This item is fully flat packed but comes with very good instructions and clearly marked components for assembly. Better quality than could be reasonably expected for a product like this. Some parts are painted wood with others appearing to be MDF. Paint finish is very good for the cost and overall this is quite sturdy and excellent value for money. Be aware the distance between the bottom of the pet entrance and the base of the cabinet is only 10cm so any litter tray probably needs to be no more than 10cm high.

Bit of a pain to construct, it's not an ikea Billy book case by any stretch but doable takes a while. However solid when built and looks great, does not look like a litter tray by any means. Fits into the style of my living room nicely, cat loves it to, it also helps keep the smell away.

Makes the hallway look better and hides the tray well. Sturdy, easy to put togther, looks neat and tidy. One issue I've had (more one of my cats is causing the issue) my cats have been used to hooded cat trays all there lives. One will go into the tray but wee will go into the cuboard and eventually onto the floor. Not always but now and again.

I’m so happy with this! Got it a day earlier than expected so that’s a bonus! It went together perfectly and all the screws had letters so we knew which screw went where! Made very well and it’s great value for money so we’re very pleased with our kitty’s new poo palace!

Very good, glad I bought it before the cats arrived. It’s very practical and nice to see instead of a litter box. The litter seems to stay inside the furniture but they are still kittens about 3month old. Easy to wipe inside off the furniture while cleaning up and doing a change over. Using the smallest area for storage of litter, scoop & bucket. Closed off that area otherwise there is a walk through hole but can be used for entrance hall separating before cats walk out, if you store their cleaning stuff somewhere else in your home. Bought a chargeable light I put in there to turn on when I scoop out their litter box. Very happy with this furniture

Excellent unit for my elderly cat. Easy to build (there's a video you can follow) I added a piece of foam and covered it with a pet blanket, easy to take off and wash. I also added a stainless steel litter tray which fits snuggly inside, keeping smellies hidden! The rail on the side is perfect for the scooper (I added a hook to handle). There is also holes at the back for air to circulate. My cat took to it straight away! We also added a ramp as it's a tad higher than his previous bed!
