Food Warmer Plate - Microwavable 9-Inch Marble Hot Plate Keeps Food Warm Longer - Great for Parties, Family Gatherings, and Holidays

My husband has a medical condition which causes him to eat soft food/soups VERY slowly so his food never stays hot during his whole meal, typically it’s luke warm at best before he’s finished. This plate is a game changer! Per directions and based on our microwave wattage, I heated the marble plate for 2 minutes, the surface was definitely too hot to touch and 30 minutes later, it was still too hot to comfortably place my palm on it ( I could touch it with my finger) and his soup stayed hot. I’ll be anxious to try it with hot cereals, Mac and cheese, scrambled eggs, etc. But, so far, I’d give it 10 stars if I could! Follow up: it kept everything warm, perfect temperature, my husband is now able to enjoy his meals. I found it’s easiest to use potholders to remove marble from microwave and then place it in holder, I also put a silicone trivet under it to protect our table from the heat. Very satisfied, a game changer to be sure.

Five stars plus! Sidenote, don’t be alarmed by the warning about this product containing benzene which is known to cause cancer, blah blah! That’s just for anybody who gets really hungry and decides to eat the plastic outer portion of this product🙃 Now to the review— I read where some people complained about the plastic melting-I’ve heated this in my microwave for about 4 to 4 1/2 minutes and it gets really hot to the touch and the plastic was fine so I don’t know who this is happening to but you try pretty hard to melt the plastic on it! In the winter time, I keep my thermostat set to round 62 and just bundle up the problem is my food gets cold quickly! This thing has been a real blessing as not only keeps my food warm for much longer helps. Keep me warm as wel! very nice product super price totally recommend!

I have given this product only three stars. I used these pan warmers yesterday at Thanksgiving Dinner and they worked as advertised so I am not returning them. That being said, they do have some serious design/safety issues. Issue number one is that there is nothing but gravity holding the heavy marble slabs in the silicone holders which means they could easily fall on somebody's foot if the holder is turned over. Issue number two is that they need to come with a microwavable pedestal because once heated, they are almost impossible to remove from the microwave with potholders due to the slab’s shape. I improvised a pedestal by placing the slabs on top of a Pyrex bowl which worked well. The silicone holders do NOT go in the microwave and are just for providing stability to the slab after you remove it from the microwave or just for storage when not in use. I only heated one slab at a time. In order to use this product, you must remove the heavy slabs from the silicone holders which means you are manipulating either a HEAVY, COLD marble slab or a HEAVY, HOT marble slab. Care must be taken during this process, especially if small children or pets are present. Three minutes in the microwave heated them to 160 degrees F. and they stayed warm for at least an hour. Pretty clever use of the old heated stone idea if you don't drop it on your foot! Design Suggestions for the Manufacturer: 1) Provide a way to fasten the marble slab in the silicone holder so it is not just dependent upon gravity to keep it in the holder from which it must be removed to use. As it is now, the slab easily falls out of the holder when it is turned upside down. 2) Provide a microwavable stable pedestal for the slab to elevate the slab off of the microwave floor for ease of handling.

I have a kitchen counter with granite tops so anything that is hot or warm begins to cool immediately including dinner plates and pots and pans. It was difficult to enjoy a hot meal all the way to the end. These units heat up quickly and allow plates to remain toasty warm through the entire meal! Great product that not only keeps prepared plated dishes warm but keeps pots and pans hot for refills! Love these!

Stay far, far away from this. The one I received had been used because it had a burned place on the plastic case. No Instructions. Piece of junk

We go to a lot of pot lucks where there are no electric outlets to keep the food hot or warm. I have been looking for something to keep the food hot or warm. Was so happy to find this item. It is very easy to warm the marble and it stays hot a while. The silicone holder stays cool to the tough making it wasy to get it in and out of the microwave. I LOVE that it is microwaveable instead of having to warm it in the over like some. It is a perfect size. It can be used on medium size casseroles dishes. Two can be used on large dishes. The marble is thick enough without adding too much weight to it. Of course, the holder is very light. I think anyone would be happy with this product.
