Sorel Women's Caribou Waterproof Boot

Fantastic boots. They are a bit heavy, although lighter than the original Sorel Pack boots from many years ago. The black on black looks great with the white contrast, and the boots are comfortable and warm. I ordered down a half size and they fit perfectly. Note, the boot has a liner that covers and pads the foot bed, the Tivoli and other Sorels do not, so these are extra warm and toasty. Definitely great for cold winter weather, and designed to function well in deep snow and icy conditions. Great purchase and will last a lifetime.

These are great winter boots. I can confidently trudge through snow. My one complaint is that the ankle area (especially in my right boot) is stiff and was very uncomfortable when I first started wearing them. Putting on an extra pair of socks helped, and I'm hopeful that with continued wear they will feel better.

I was concerned about the sizing based on other reviews but I usually take a size 9 so I ordered a size 9 - and they fit perfectly. The toe box is roomy, which actually helps keep your feet warmer - too-tight boots don't allow for enough air to circulate and your feet get cold. The tread is nice and grippy, too. Only thing to know is that they are kinda bulky to drive in...but that's not really what they're for anyway. For tromping around outside in the snow and cold, these are excellent.

I had to replace my other pair of Sorel boots which were 15 years old!! I am happy with the quality and warmth of these boots! Here’s to the next 15 years!

It is very difficult to get your foot into the boot. I have normal size foot and ankle and its very difficult to get my foot to go into the boot. Very small around the ankle area.

I bought these for an upcoming Norway cruise where I will be doing a lot of touring and walking. I loved the hard shell to make super waterproof, but they are VERY heavy and bulky. The boots were so stiff my ankles had no flexibility and I literally had to lift my feet up to walk, which would be impossible walking some distance. It felt like I had 5 pound ankle weights on. These boots would take some serious breaking in to loosen the material to be comfortable. The tongue was so stiff I couldn’t tuck in and it dug into my leg if I tried to lace up snug. This left a sizable gap for snow, water and/or cold air to get in. They would be great working around the house or on a snowmobile, but not for walking.

I bought 2 styles of ladies boots to try. I wore them around the house to test them out. The Caribou was a little bulkier (-42 rated) but immediately felt comfortable. The Carnival was a nicer looking boot. It was little slimmer (-32 rated) felt lighter but they were definitely narrower and pinched the back of the heal a little (it may be due to the sturdy, denim type fabric upper that wasn’t broke in). The Caribou has flexible leather uppers. In my opinion, it was superior in quality and comfort and worth the extra $30.

Schuhe sind super aber die Größe ist etwas komplizierter 😅 normal trage ich 41. durch dicke Socken lieber halbe Nummer größer, fail, 41.5 riesig, 41 immer noch riesig, 40.5 besser aber immer noch zu groß, letztlich bin ich bei einer 40 gelandet und kann immer doch dicke Alpaka Socken darunter tragen. Obwohl ich nach Anweisung bestellt hab und meine Größe hab messen lassen. Aber insgesamt super Boots, Lappland kann los gehen.

Lieferung wie immer perfekt. Diese Stiefel, egal für Mann oder Frau sollte man sich anschaffen für das ganz schlechte Wetter. Nie wieder nasse oder kalte Füße! Aber einen Rat muss ich geben: Die Schuhe passen meistens nicht sofort. Leider muss man immer erst mehrere Größen oder Modelle probieren ... aber wenn es dann mal passt, dann passt es.

I purchased these for my mum who is a UK size 7. The insole was almost too tight for me (size 5). It was very snug on me, and completely too small for my mum to even get her feet in. Not sure if this was just a flaw in the pair we received and we got unlucky, but it was very poorly sized. The insole seemed far too small and narrow in relation to the boot itself. I’ve had Sorel boots before but we were disappointed with this pair and returned them due to the really odd sizing....

Kept my feet warm and dry (mostly) through Iceland. Best to cover the tops with trousers as not close fitting, but bottom very waterproof. Not super grippy on wet or icy ground though, good in slush and snow.
