Professor Charlie's world tour - puzzle advent calendar for 1-6 people aged 14 and over - 24 individual puzzles (english edition)

I bought this for December 2024, it was brilliant. Every day I’ve got to expend 10-15 minutes with my family solving the puzzle on the envelope. The puzzles are varied in difficulty and skills needed. This meant that everyone (including my teenager son) had days where could lead or be first in solving the puzzle. We had to search for clues a couple of times but in general is a good challenge, not obvious to solve as you read the challenge but doable in 10-15 minutes I wish they release a new one so we could play it this year again! Highly recommended.

We are on day 12 of this advent calendar and so far it has been excellent! So much fun to open each day. It could totally work as just a game and not an advent calendar either. We will be passing this on to friends and family after we are finished with it. The puzzles vary in terms of difficulty and the website is really helpful if you get stuck. 5/5 for entertainment value.

My 11 year old grandson (as have his mother and father) found this great fun and challenging. Would recommend it wholeheartedly.

We started this as an advent calender but ran out of time so switched it to become Christmas entertainment for 2 adults and 2 teens over a few days. We loved the premise and it was great fun, but there are mistakes which are only apparent when you log onto the website for extra clues. It was just the right level of difficulty to keep it interesting for us but if they ever reprint or make a different version I'd hope they'd proof-read it thoroughly.

I had a fantastic time completing it with my hubby! Every day there is a new letter, with a new task. It finishes beautifully! It would be great for an entire family to do together everyday. Very good value for money

I bought this as an advent calendar for hubby but we didn't do it until this year.. It was fun, 24 envelopes with letters and a puzzle to solve to find the next envelope. The puzzles were a mixture of ability levels and we had to consult the website on a couple of them as they seemed to point to one answer but it was another completely different one. The problem came at the end, warning spoilers The last clue leads you to a website that doesn't exist. We googled every variation of it but only found the main site which doesn't have a link. So after a month we weren't able to find the answer which annoyed me a lot. We had fun doing the puzzles but the end really lets it down

This advent calendar / board game is so fun. I really underestimated how fun and intricate it is. I definitely recommend it. You get such a good experience for a good price compared to other puzzle advent calendars. This is even better because you can always use it as a board game with families or an advent calendar. The letters and envelops are so nicely designed and I'm always so excited to open them each day. It also gives you that satisfaction when you get it correct with no hints. I hope i find another advent calendar like this for next year

Ar 46 years old, I thought I'd seen every type of advent calendar going until we ordered this one! Every day, there's an envelope to open with a puzzle inside that you need to solve to find the clue for the next envelope. The puzzles range in difficulty from relatively easy to quite difficult and even figuring out the link to the next envelope can be tricky! If you get really stuck, there's even a website with hints that can help! The best thing is that it's not just an advent calendar either! Although I will have solved all of the puzzles by Christmas day, I can still challenge other family members to complete it. We have friends round for dinner from time to time and I just know that this will make a fantastic dinner party entertainment! If I ever get onto Come Dine With Me, I know what my entertainment will be! This is an amazing product for anyone who loves puzzles and I would highly recommend it.

My son couldn't resist to wait until all 24 days passed and just being busy the whole morning to get this amazing game sorted. Couldn't wait for another edition and new adventures!

Always looking for an advent calendar that doesn't contain junk that's going to clutter my house or is unhealthy - this one fits the bill on both accounts, and is fun and engaging, to boot! My 10 year old could solve many puzzles on their own, but some were a bit tricky and needed guidance from me (or the easy to follow hints page online with multiple levels of hints). It was cleverly themed, cohesive, and a bit easier to solve than the Exit escape room advent calendars, but also a lot cheaper. As mentioned in other reviews, there was a mistake in one of the letters, but the website alerted us to this (while solving another puzzle) before the envelope in question was encountered. 10/10 highly recommend! Hope they release a new one each year!
