Works great there are 6 bottles. You have TO REALLY LOOK CLOSE TO REALIZE this. It's a good thing.

Love that they offer the larger size bottles.

This product did nothing to extend wick life. Some chemicals can remove hard water minerals after they've been deposited on a surface, but they can't make minerals disappear or prevent their deposits on either a wick, or on surfaces surrounding a humidifier (floor, furniture, etc.) not equipped with a wick. Some folks may falsely believe their wick life is being extended with this product, but it's wishful thinking. One reviewer for this product also stated the directions call for twice the amount of solution used vs. the solution without this additive. If you have hard water you're essentially stuck with the minerals. I've also flipped the wicks and soaked them in a vinegar solution to extend their life, but it's not a cure. Minerals on wicks limit their ability to absorb and wick up water, and these "crusty" areas continue to limit absorption and wicking ability regardless of re-positioning. And delicate Paper Wicks that are soaked in an acid solution (e.g., vinegar or citric acid) lose their structural integrity and deform and disintegrate to some degree, which affects airflow through them when reused. The process also doesn't remove all the minerals from them. If you used a strong enough acid solution to do so, the wicks would be unusable afterward. Using water softened by ion exchange (using salt) doesn't work either, as the salt also builds up on wicks, reducing their performance. The only process that works is if the hard water is ran through a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system. Demineralized or distilled water will work, but the trouble of hauling jugs and their expense exceeds that of replacing wicks more often.

One of the 6 bottles has a very small hole in the bottom and is leaking everywhere. I don't seem to have the option to just get one new bottle.

This is for 1 bottle of treatment, not 6 bottles.

this is a must product for any humidifier!

Product arrived in a timely fashion with no damaged or leaking containers. My only complaint is the shipping with FedEx who did not deliver to my house, only to outside my open gate about 100 yards from my house. Amazon delivery is better!

Haven't used this in a couple years. Just been using water in the humidifier and have had a lot of scaling buildup. After using this for 3 days it removed a lot of buildup from the tank and some goo I didn’t know as in there as well as softened the buildup around the humidifier vents which lessened the buildup on its own and is now easier to remove with a plastic bristles brush. It also took away the nasty smell that was emitting when the filters got dry at the end of the day (i neglected the humidifier cleaning and filters pretty bad). New filter going in next week after i deep clean the humidifier, definitely continuing to use this.
