Zagone Studios Men's Death Mask

The mask works great and is of excellent quality. Anyone who is having trouble getting the jaw to move simply needs to adjust the mask. What you have to do is gently move the headpiece down while the mask is on, until the top ridge of the eye holes is nearly covering your eyes. Yes, it occludes your vision a bit, bit it's completely manageable. You know you're in the butter zone when your nose pops out from beneath the black mask cloth beneath the upper tooth ridge. Not only does it provide better breathing, but it also provides more leverage with the upper jaw piece when talking because you use it in conjunction with the foam pad at the lower jaw. A visual indicator is that when your mouth is closed, the upper and lower jaw of the mask will be touching, or nearly touching. That's when you've got it right. Now when you talk, even with slight jaw movements, the mask will match you perfectly. For me, the trade-off in slightly reduced visual clarity is well worth it in order to have a well animated mask. To hide your eyes, wear an old-fashioned black stocking over your head. Covers the eyes perfectly. If the nylon presses against your eyelids too much, use a pair of swimming goggles under the nylon. Totally comfortable and works like a charm.

Mask fits well and the jaw/mouth works well. The quality is amazing for the price!

I love this mask - I bought it mainly because I needed something I could pull on quickly for Halloween thanks to a family wedding in the daytime (who gets married on Halloween?!!) and it’s brilliant! I’ve customised it by encrusting it with crystals for a Crystal Grim Reaper look and added some metal eyelet holes in the mouth area for both a bit of fresh air and so I can drink through a straw - brilliant look!

Had a blast with this mask this past Halloween. Detail is fantastic!! The skull crown covers fully, ending where the hatline would be in the back of your head(level to top of ears). The mask breathes VERY well, was a bit warm inside, but as soon as I stepped out into the cool Fall air, it served a double purpose and kept me warm too!! :D The jaw moves when you speak, those of you with larger jaws like mine will find this effect very appealing. Feel free to act out, the mask encourages it, the larger you speak the more realistic the movement. For those of you that are going to wear a hood with your mask(I did) the top of the skull crown makes a great place to put some tape to hold that hood in place!! And you will need it, lol without the tape you'll have a hood in your eyes all night long. ;p I admittedly balked a bit at the price during my decision phase, but found the price was more than worth it when the product arrived. The material it's made of is highly flexible and durable, I'll be able to enjoy this for many years to come. It's design is simple enough that should anything come loose, it's nothing a hot glue gun can't handle :)

Very high quality. Best one i've seen yet. But make sure you have a wide shipping window because that can really mess your event if it comes in late. But the mask is so realistic. so comfortable. I'm stoked.
