Reminders Of Him: A Novel

This one made me cry, smile, feel the joy and appreciate the time cause we never know when this rollercoaster gets to end. I couldn't lay this down, I re-read most of the chapters as I felt I want to sink through those words. I love the fact how no character in the book has been portrayed negatively. It's just like there is no good or evil people, it all comes to time and circumstances for people to be judged for. Totally loved the book... have already recommended it many. Thank you Colleen for another master piece.

Reminders of Him is a poignant and emotional story of redemption, forgiveness and love. Colleen Hoover delivers a powerful and realistic portrayal of a young mother who struggles to rebuild her life after prison and reconnect with her daughter. The characters are flawed and complex, and their journey is full of challenges and heartache. I was invested in Kenna and Ledger's relationship, which was sweet and supportive, but also faced a lot of obstacles and judgment. The book also explores the themes of guilt, grief, family and friendship, and how they affect the choices we make. The writing is beautiful and captivating, and the dual timeline adds suspense and depth to the story. The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is that I felt that the ending was too rushed and unrealistic. I also thought that some of the sex scenes were unnecessary and detracted from the emotional impact of the story. I would have liked to see more development of Kenna's bond with her daughter and less focus on her physical attraction to Ledger. Overall, this was a moving and memorable read that touched my heart and made me cry. I recommend it to fans of Colleen Hoover and contemporary romance.

This is such a fun read. I will make my wife read it. The first quarter of the book is simply superb. There are so many emotions attached. As a parent I was able to relate to it even more. And the love angles, oh my word! they were well done. The writing is fluid as the author makes the reader fall in her web. She is quite a master of it. This is my first book by the author. If her other books are 80% as good, I think we have a winner. one last thing, it is incredible to do a meaningful novel and actually make the reader relate to you. This is not easy at all. very few books manage to do this without sounding conceited ... alas this is one such book that will move almost everyone. If you like this book and want something that is one or two levels above try "invisible life of addie laure" Have fun!

Must read. Amazing author, how she brings life into her characters. Every book that I read of hers makes me want to read more work of hers.

Nice story

I didn't know what I was getting into when I started this...i frankly thought this was a suspense novel and it took me 3 chapters to understand that this is a sad love story... By the time I was done with 3 chapters i was too invested in the characters to give it up... The book is so sad it made me tear up at almost every page and by the time I was done with this book my eyes were swollen... though it cud have been becoz of lack of sleep lol... It's so sad...that even though i knew the ending would be a happily ever after ..it just failed to turn things around... The plot is not new...but the characters are all too good to exist in reality... Post 5yrs of servicing a prison sentence for involuntary manslaughter for the accidental death of her boyfriend...Kenna returns to the same town to win her daughter back from the grand parents... And falls for the handsome best friend of the dead boyfriend... somewhere i was sort of hoping things weren't the way they were discribed...i wanted there to be some kind of crazy reason/ deliberate ..i wanted a villain...very childish...but still... I wish I had not picked this book without reading what it was abt...it's an ok read... Frankly I'm more into reading things that give me some kind of inspiration...not some love story kind of a person...i enjoy light reading ... romantic comedies..but not romantic tragedies...they irritate me.. But to be fair...it's not a bad book...just a sad one.

Reminder of Him is the classic Colleen Hoover book with all the elements that makes her books such a beautiful and amazing read. There were moments in the book where I sobbed my heart out and moments that made me smile with joy too. Reminders of Him is the heartwarming and tear jerking tale of Kenna. Kenna, who is everything you would expect and still not expect at all. She is innocent, a little naive, jaded and lost. Kenna is someone who will get into your heart and just tear it apart because of whatever she had to face. She is someone who was always at the receiving end of all sorts of misfortunes and you just cannot help but want a win for her. Her character layers are explored in a manner that will make you root for her with everything you have. Well Ledger is the perfect prince charming or knight in shining armor for her. He is everything amazing, in fact perfect of Kenna. I love the way he stood for her and believed in her. His protective instincts and the way he wanted to make everything perfect for her was just so swoon worthy. If I had any problem, it was the almost instant way they both fell in love, it felt a little rushed to me and the ending, the sudden way everything was tied up. It was all very sweet. I don't know, maybe I would have liked a little more conversation, a little more emotions to be explored at the end. Reminders of Him is a beautiful book. Just one of those reads that will leave you with a smile.

I really liked this one. I wanted to continue reading it. I think the book can be read en by 15 years olds but also 45 years olds. One of Colleen hoovers best books after Verity

Bought three books from Colleen Hoover and as always … you can easily skip 10 chapters and not miss a thing. Good initial plots but horrible writing and absolutely no developments. I stopped the agony in the middle of the third book and threw them all away.

Love love love this book!!! GOT ME IN TEARS AND I DONT CRY LIKE THAT. Honestly I dont support Hoover because shes quite literally an awful person but I bought this when everyone was raving about her. Definitely one of the books I dont regret purchasing!

It arrived in a good condition and the cover looks more gorgeous in real life! I’m excited to read it. Coho’s books have always been my comfort reads🩵
