Fast read for 9 year old that loves basketball and likes Stephen Curry

My son is almost 11 and is very small for his age. He can get very teary and upset that his classmates are bigger than him. He idolizes Steph Curry and this was a PERFECT reminder that amazing things happen to people no matter what their size!! The big reminder was the picture of Steph on a basketball team when he was young and he was the smallest guy there. My son smiled when he realized that they one that he looks up to, never gave up. Beautiful message. Thank you.

I loved the book for my son, but it was hard to read some of the sentences because the grammar and syntax were poor. Just for starters, “everyday” should be two words in the sentence where it talked about him practicing every day.

My 4 & 6 year old grandsons liked this book. Has a good message also-double win!

Got this to read to my kids.
