Great product even with no instructions was simple to install and sounds amazing especially with muffler delete

Like most people have stated there’s no instructions but if you have any mechanical experience you can put two and two together and make it happen. All in all a good kit went on pretty easy and is doing what it’s supposed to. Definitely recommend

Overall, this is a good value IF you can deal with less than ideal fit. The parts themselves appear good quality, nice powder coating, metal tube was nicely formed and polished, the air cleaner seemed like good quality - as good as my K&N, and threaded ports are without burrs. There were no instructions but the pictures on Amazon are all you need. All the stated parts were included. The actual fit isnt that great - there is a slight mismatch in angle between the metal tube and the air cleaner box. As such, the rubber boot wants to pull off. I torqued down the hose clamp as tight as humanly possible, and seems to work ok. The 2 piece box needs to be assembled before putting it into the truck and it takes some effort to get it in place. And best to remove the 3 bolts on the plate the new box bolts to. My stock air cleaner box was held in place with rubber bungs and takes a pretty good tug to get it out. You also need to unbolt the little brace that runs directly over the stock box. I removed the forward bolt and rotated it back out of the way. The two replacement breather hoses aren't formed and the passenger side, due to the twist it needs to make, wants to pull off. After being warmed up a few times, it may take a set. However, I'd recommend buying 4 hose clamps to secure these. I installed this on a 2017 Silverado with a 5.3. The Amazon listing says it also fits a 6.2 - and the kit comes with the appropriate reducer rubber boot. But from a performance standpoint, I wouldn't think reducing any diameter on the intake would help, cause the tube is the diameter of the 5.3 throttle body. I really didn't notice any improvement in performance, but it does look good. Still, overall, I think this is still a good value for the money.

Installed on my 2015 Denali crewcab, easy installation i set it up outside first in two pieces and the cone left for the end for easier installation. Dont come with instructions but go based of off the picture here on Amazon it helps you can double your rings at the base of the pipe where it meets the vortex intake, whatever you like but its worth it your not just buying a brand name you're buying a good quality and light weight part by the way I got the black one thinking it was plastic or pvc or sometime type of plastic turns out its a light weight aluminum pipe clean any excess scraps of the mass flow sensor so you don't have any issues with the computer in the dash board at first it won't read the codes but if you have to reset the truck do so so your truck can read that it just had a new part installed.

I have owned vehicles for a long time and I always modify them in some shape or fashion. I used KN in the past as it usually is a solid product however you pay for the name as the product is plastic with a mesh filter 350$ for that is insane to me. This product I purchased the chrome piped intake which fit perfect on my 2020 Tahoe 5.3 no issues with connecting rubber grommets I did have to make a gasket for the MA air flow sensor but otherwise bolted up perfect to stock equipment. Only drawback was no instructions which if you don’t know vehicles is an issue but if you take your time you can make it work regardless of mechanical aptitude, overall I’m happy with the product for the cost.

Very easy install once I found a video on YouTube, as there were no instructions included. 🤔 Truck sounds great, runs great and a little added HP never hurts!

As stated in other reviews, zero instructions but it was easy to figure out. Yes you will need to supply 4 - 1 inch hose clamps for the breather tubes. The quality is good. Here is my issue; the truck was difficult to start after installation and kept stalling. Then once it smoothed out, the check engine light came on. I dove it to the gas station and back around the block (about six miles) and it ran awful. Very hesitant and poor throttle response. When I finally got it to even out a bit, I didn't notice a difference in how the truck runs or sounds. I have used K&N products in the past and noticed a huge difference in how those trucks ran and they had a great sound to them. I'm not stating that this product is inferior to K&N. I'm thinking that the 2014 5.3ltr GMC does not respond well to intake modifications. Going back to stock intake and will try and sell this locally.

I have this kit on a 2017 Escalade & the chrome version on a 2015 Sierra Denali, both have the 6.2 liter engine. The product fits perfectly, looks great, sounds great & performs great! Installation was very simple & straightforward. No modifications were necessary. 1 hour or less, easy. NOTE this will increase the sound of your engines air intake. I love the sound of my engine breathing better but some people may not.

For the money, no complaints. Installed on a 2017 sierra 5.3. Had my 10 year old do most of the work. Only not normal thing was needing a couple washers to space out the bolts that hold the filter adapter. There were too long. The sound is awsome under load going wot. Really hear it! Also wanted a dry filter setup like this one, K&N oiled filters and maf sensors don't play well together.

Bought it for my 2016 sierra 1500 with the 5.3L Sounds really good when you step on it… quality is a bit cheap but you get what you pay for. I’m very happy with the intake for the price…

I put this on my 16 gmc sierra, 5.3l and it was going great until it came to install the maf sensor. The block part that is welded in at the factory, is installed upside down. I tried installing it in the location they gave me and the truck did not start or idle. So I had to install upside down and cable tie it in and it will operate. I guess you get what you pay for… I’m going to just drill and tap holes in a different location so it will be functional without the cable ties. The install went well otherwise, happy with the the purchase still but just sucks.

Added hp and performance. Uses less gas now.
