If you have a PUR in-faucet water filtration unit, by all means get these. The PUR system is a really good system for providing me with pure, clean water in my kitchen sink. Most big-box stores stopped carrying the PUR products a couple of years back. The closest one that carries the PUR product line is 15 minutes away (sorry, I ain't doin' that no more). That's OK, because I can buy this 4-pack for less than three of the PUR brand product at the big-box store. For those who are unfamiliar with the PUR Plus system - it's easy. 1) the main unit attaches directly to your kitchen faucet; 2) unscrew the back the unit to place the cartridge in (there is only one way for it to go); 3) replace back of unit squarely and tightly (to prevent leakage); 4) turn on cold tap water, flip the black lever on the side, and run for about 6 minutes (ALWAYS use with COLD water, NEVER with HOT - the hot watch will damage the filtering elements inside the cartridge). It is the proverbial piece of cake!!

This filter works perfectly and was very easy to install. You do need to have the All PUR filter system to use it, but once it’s set up, it runs smoothly with no leaks at all. The filters are a bit heavy, but that just shows they’re made of good quality materials and the design makes it easy to install so its ok. It’s also really convenient, the indicator light turns red when it’s time to replace the filter, which is usually about every 3 months. Overall, I 100% recommend it for anyone looking for clean, great-tasting water and a simple installation process.

These work really well on my Pur faucet filter. The water flows through prettty fast and they last 3 months for me. I like that I can use filtered water in my espresso machine. I will be buying these again.

The best affordable filters

These are fine but of course, they do not notify you like the original ones. For example, the original one would light up orange when needing to change but with these you have to keep a mental note of changing every 3 months. It also is not consistently blinking green. So it will blink the first three times and then stops after that while the original one does blink until your are done with the faucet.
