The Tera scanner base is excellent. I mounted on the book shelf above my desk and it works well with the Tera scanner. I found it to be very sturdy and well made. The Amazon Prime shipping was also great.

I purchased the scanner by itself. Suddenly I realized it was just lying around. Found this stand, and there you go. Perfect fit. Easy to set up. No regrets

The base of the stand is pretty subpar, as it is hollow and requires you to buy your own weighted objects to put inside of it to keep it stable. The product description conveniently leaves this out, but the instructions when it arrives tell you to add weights while constructing it. On top of this, the rubber pads on the bottom don't go far enough to one side, so the whole base wobbles slightly every time you use it without weights. I have one of the wider Tera barcode scanners that this stand says is compatible but it barely fits and doesn't feel very secure in the holster. The design of it also seems to have changed since the product photos were made, because the base on the one I was sent does not match the one I received despite being labeled on packaging as the same product. Tera has had this problem in the past, as the barcode scanner I bought to put on this stand also did not match its product page or description either. It's cheap and works well enough, but it could've easily been better with a few small adjustments, and Tera repeatedly advertising one thing and sending something slightly different and worse is getting old.

Works great for my use at work! Different ways to to mount helps a ton

My 12 yr old enjoys scanning the groceries when we shop. I think it's all about the beep, beep, beep. I was skeptical about this scanner meeting her expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. It did take a little practice to get it working, but she used it for months scanning everything in the house with a bar code. Its still used, but not on everything. If your children love scanning this is for them.
