It Changed My Mind
I am usually unimpressed with most items today...especially home brew items. When I received this item, I had so many preconceived notions that it wouldn't work, it'd be hard to operate, it'd quickly break because it was so cheap, etc. I have to admit that I was wrong! This bottle capping device has changed my opinion in every way. The capper is super easy to use, requires minimal effort, it's ingeniously designed, and most of all it works! In the home brewing community, cappers get a bad name because they sometimes don't crimp right and so you lose carbonation. As such, a lot of guys buy these large, unwieldy floor/bench bottling devices that take up space and still only partially work. This device is alarmingly light weight, amazingly sturdy, takes up little room, and works like a charm each and every time. I've yet to have an uncarbonated bottle happen. Every cap is perfectly seated. My only complaint is that it didn't come with a catalog or website or something where I can buy more caps from the company. I'm an extremely loyal buyer (when I find a product I like) and would like to insure I have the same caps since I don't want to jinx anything in the future.

It worked fine, no complaints, only time will tell if it's durable
I have a capper that adjusts to different bottle sizes, but it won't accommodate a magnum-sized champagne bottle, so I bought this. As I say in the headline, it worked fine, but I haven't used it more than a few times so far since most of the bottling I do is with smaller bottles that fit in my other capper.

simple concept, but I broke a bottle.
will keep it as backup, moved on to stand mounted capper for twice the price but nicer to use. If you are reasonably careful the capper should offer years of excellent service.

Works great!
Capped my first hydromel with this last week and went smoothly. Helps to have the bottle on a towel or other surface with some grip since it takes a bit of downward pressure to apply.

Doesn't quite cap completely. If you move it around it will finish though.

I like how snall and conpact this thing is but when i cap a bottle, the cap gets stuck in the capper everytime by faulty design. It gets caught on the cap nce its on the bottle, and you have to pull the cap back off a tiny bit just to get it unstuck, which means you arent getting as flush of a seal. I would say this is fine if you have a few home-brews youd like to cap, but i wouldn't use this to sell your drinks. The gears are made of plastic, and i feel like im gonna break it every time im capping a bottle. The handles bend alot too and im worried im warping the plastic sometimes. Instead of clamping it down like your supposed to, i just shimmy it left and right, and wiggle it while its going down, which works. I still recommend this product though. The price isnt bad, and it does the job for what its worth

I received a sub standard Indian made product and not worthy and any time the handle will break when used just heavy press. its working fine but only not worthy to buy on this high price.
