Having a fussy newborn is never easy so my partner bought this particular model after several recommendations from midwives and even doula's. It's easy to use and straight forward to clean and causes no pain or discomfort to my partner (everyone's different though so don't shout at me if you do feel something.) One important thing to note is that you have to dry the "cup" where it connects to the piping with a thin rolled up piece of kitchen roll completely before pumping otherwise water travels through the piping into the pump itself. Only happened to us once and we soon learned what the issue was. The manufacturers solution was to buy new piping but clean pressurized air done the trick saving a few quid. Would definitely recommend.

There is a reason Medela pumps cost more, I have tried four other brands and these are the only ones that work for me! Maybe I am sensitive, but other types are very painful to use even on the lowest settings while the Medela empties my milk without hurting. It’s also quieter than any others I’ve tried. The pump is straightforward to put together, use and clean. The charge only lasts about three pumping sessions (about one hour of pumping), but it recharges quickly. Also customer service is amazing and my defective pump was replaced quickly, the replacement was delivered within 24 hours of my complaint.

Stopped working after a few months. Avoid.

Super comfortable pump with different nipple sizes. Easy to clean. Need to buy USB plug separately. Best pump I've used however and what they seem to use in hospital.

Amazing product. I purchased the Elvie ones before these and the E traumatised me. This product is so much better. It’s the brand they use in hospital. Very good succion. The battery last long too. It’s a bit noisy but it’s fine. The size is adaptable if you have bigger breast like mine they sell even bigger size separately at an affordable price. It’s much cheap than the Elvie one. Looks and feels sturdier too. If you are a bit lost but want the best I highly recommend these. I tried and wasted so much money but this is the ONE. They are truly the best brand and product, nothing is as good as that on the market.

I was delighted to order this pump as I am returning to work and wanted to get something that was portable, easy to use and one that I was able to use without plugging in (as a bonus feature). After seeing many reviews, I decided to go ahead and purchase it. However, I was very disappointed as the suction power was so terrible. With my previous hospital grade pump, I was able to easy express 150-200ml in one sitting (within 10-15 minutes), but was greatly disappointed when I barely pumped 40ml with this one, even after trying for 30 minutes. I tried again the next day, and was still disappointed once again. I gave it a rest and tried a few days later...and once again barely pumped 50mL. I tried it plugged in and on battery too. The suction power was a little strong, but did not have the same suction technique/strength/style as a hospital grade one. I have now decided to rent a hospital grade one, which I am finding better than this by far! It may work for some, but unfortunately this did not work for me, especially considering how much I spent. Really disappointed it did not work out for me, and I am hoping that perhaps I had a faulty one, but was not brave enough to try and order another one just in case. I did however like how portable it was and easy to use, so that is a big plus!

I purchased this pump after hearing many good things about Medela breast pumps. When I first open the box and assembled the pump, I wasn’t sure how on earth I was meant to hold both bottles and switch the pump on at the same time I purchased a pumping bra, to hold the bottles in however this meant that the suction came loose around my breasts and therefore it didn’t work effectively. I have to use one at a time which takes twice as long and I find it quite uncomfortable even with the correct flange size I’m very glad I purchased this at a reduced price , as I would be quite disappointed if I had spent more money on it.

I spent ages trying to decide on what pump to purchase and read so many reviews I got very confused. Decided to go with this Medela Swing pump and I am certainly not disappointed. It is easy to use and comfortable. I also purchased the expression bustier as well which makes it handsfree and even easier to use. Although quite expensive I would highly recommend and say it’s certainly worth the price.

Same like many other coments my pump stop working correctly after 4 months now warranty is drama is very expensive pump for lasting very little.

This pump is durable and working well for last six months. The only reason for getting this high priced pump is because it offers multiple flange size. No other pump in India offers this flange size option. Single charge will last for two to three pumping sessions.

Edit: Again it stopped working after repair, just avoid this and save your hard earned money Worst product, so expensive and it stopped working just after a month, Medela is cheating by supplying poor quality product don't buy, will not recommend this at all you will regret for sure. No response from Medela customer care too. I'm stuck after purchasing this pathetic thing.

Its of no use, waste of money. I have been using luvlap since my baby is born, it works like a magic but this product inspite of its cost its useless, motor is not pumping properly even though you use proper flange, following up for refund is also a big pain
