Where can i find instructions if need a replacement

I don't remember there being any option to get replacement parts. What I do remember was the lack of parts to build the battleship. In fact my grandson couldn't even get through Step 1. Buying this kit pretty much told me that if it ain't Lego it's not worth my time or money
