Supernatural: The Complete Series (DVD)

Unfortunately I am a little late to watching Supernatural,by the time I caught a few episodes of the original series it was too far into the episode run and waited until I had time to watch from the beginning.So now atm Supernatural is leaving their only streaming service and unless it’s picked up only purchasing a digital streaming or the physical media is only way to watch.The repackaged version is the same as the collector’s version released in 2020 as far as discs.They are held in 3 albums instead of 7 and the booklet included is only 16 pages while the 2020 is 68 pages with more pictures and extras.But this sells for over 50% less atm ,so this is probably the best physical media option.

Best series in history!

Purchased in November 2025. No digital code, got it for $100 on sale. So far I've ripped through 5 seasons, I'll edit this review if I run into any other issues later. But for now? These are solid Blu-Ray releases, up to six episodes per disk, generally 5GB to 6GB per episode. Picture quality is great, good as 1080p gets. Audio is 5.1 AC3 (Dolby Digital), which is what I'd expect from a television release (no expectation of some crazy TrueHD remaster). So far the only bad I can say is that the non-English options are WILDLY inconsistent season to season. So if that matters to you? Be warned. I was excited when the first two seasons had Spanish audio and subtitles. Also had Portuguese, and even Japanese subtitles. Then the fourth season was English only, and the only non-English subtitles were French. Come season five? Portuguese is the only second audio track. What? Not that it's in Portuguese; I know plenty of people worldwide speak it. But that it's the only available alternate language, when I'm certain a Spanish dub exists. It just feels like they grabbed these files from random sources to master the discs from, with no concern for consistency. Like I assume Season 4 was the Canadian release (French), and then Season 5 was Brazilian (Portuguese). Just weird. We'll see what happens as I get through the rest. But again, so far through five seasons the English-language product is PERFECT. The boxes themselves are...meh. I'm not gonna complain though, because I know tradeoffs have to be made to fit 50+ discs into a reasonable amount of shelf space. They've shrunk 15 seasons down to a very, very reasonable footprint. I flipped through all the cases, and no loose discs, so I'm confident nothing will be damaged. I do recommend doing the same with ANY big DVD/BR boxed set, don't want to wait six months to find you have a damaged disc from shipping and are outside the replacement window.

Excellent box dvd set of Supernatural. Great price. Arrived much sooner than expected. Played some of the discs, no problems. Going to grab some snacks and lock in for my very own Supernatural marathon. Awesome 👍😎

LOVE a DVD that has the PLAY ALL feature. I’m watching this through for the 2nd time and I love this show plus all the special features. Great gift too.

When I saw this box set would be released I immediately pre-ordered it and waited for the day it would arrive! When it got here I opened it up and checked everything out. Overall, I like the box set but I feel like they could have done better with a few things. Okay....a lot of things. Maybe I'm just a crazy fan who wants perfection on his favorite show, but I know some other people will want to know these things BEFORE buying it. All these reviews just have people reviewing the show. Yes, we know the show is good, but how is the quality of the actual box set? Anyways, here's my review on it. Pros : -Box looks great and makes for a good display -Contains all bonus features -Has a booklet which describes each episode -Artwork on each case looks nice and high quality (they are screencaps and not their own pictures like the individual seasons have but eh i don't mind) Cons : -The discs don't fit well in their cases (some slip out of the middle ring, etc.). Was very disappointed with this as this whole set costs about $350 and they couldn't make sure to have high quality cases for the discs?? Pretty stupid -The disc artwork seems watered down. I took a picture of one of the discs so you can see. I may be nitpicking here but I would have liked to see some more color there. It seems bland and you can barely make out the symbols in the background. Doesn't match the energy of the show imo -Again I might be nitpicking here but I know some people would care as well. The actual cases have varying designs. They are not all the same. What I mean by this I don't mean in terms of artwork. I mean the actual cases themselves. The plastic! I took pictures of that as well. Why do some have more prominent lines of separation while others do not. It's noticeable and just weird imo. Why not have them be the same? I don't think this is a defect from what I've seen but if it is indeed not a defect then I just need to know why they made this choice. -I don't know why they did this, but they made the bonus features for Season 15 in its own small paper case while the other seasons had their bonus features on the discs. Maybe the bonus features for Season 15 needed more storage and needed to be on their own disc? But why put it on its own in its own little paper case?? Again, nitpicking maybe, but this box set just seems to not like uniformity. It's everywhere! Those are the pros and cons. Yes, i probably went overboard on the cons but i think some fans would want to know these things before buying a $350 box set. I mean I can't say I would return it or anything but it speaks volumes about how much the people actually care about the box sets and their quality when the DISCS WONT EVEN FIT. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. Uniformity in the cases would have been nice but instead you got some cases having some designs and others looking like the plastic is broken. You can look at the pros and cons and weigh for yourself. Have a look at the pictures too for clarification. This was just my two cents. Thanks for reading. I'm gonna go and rewatch the whole series again now!!

If you wanna purchase Supernatural, wait until a holoday. Itll go from 250 bucks to less than 100. I assume you know Supernatural is an amazing series already. This has 15 seasons. Some goodies. Well worth picking up. Just be smart about the when.
