These craft eyes have been working just fine for me! The sizes aren’t listed on the paper it comes with so I just wrote them in from what the Amazon listing said. Then I just wrote it on the storage box. The washers are easy to get on!

The best safety eyes for the best price! This kit came with a huge variety of sizes and shapes for both eyes and nose. It also came with the appropriate safety backs! There is not an instruction manual to show what direction you should attach the backs but I just googled it so that was simple enough. There is a direction guide included that tells you what size back should be used with each size button. They are perfect for crocheted stuffed animals (or fruits), I will definitely buy this product again when I run out of beads!

I love these! My previous set has lasted me over two years before I ran out of some of the sizes, so I reordered these. The set was improved from last time- it actually had a space to include the eye backings, and a little chart to show the eye sizes. Very helpful from my previous purchase. I've included a picture of the old set beside the new. These are quality safety eyes, I've never had one loosen or come out in all of my crochet toys. Highly recommend! I also see a few bad reviews saying that some of the backings don't fit. In my two years of use, I've only ever had 3 backings that don't fit. 3 of 190. Also, some say that there was extra plastic "flakes" around the edges of some eyes. While I did have that problem occasionally, I was able to cut it off smoothly with a pair of scissors with no damage to the eye.

So while you definitely get a lot for the amount of money you are spending, it looks like where the costs get cut is on the backing for the eyes. The washer end that would go on the inside of the stuffed animal. The washer/backing is incredibly thin and malleable. So this has a pro and a con compared to a more secure and stiff backing. The ones that are in this pack are soft/thin and malleable. The pro is that if you put them wrong on the stuffed animal, it is not that difficult to remove them and then place it again. However, the con is this would not be something you'd use for small children's toys, for risk of choking, since it is so easy to remove. So, if you plan to give the finished product to an adult who isn't likely to mess around with it too much, then this is fine for the price, but if you are looking for something that can be safely around small children, this is not the product you want. Personally, I like have secure eyes, and I wouldn't buy this one again. I'd rather pay more for the more secure backings.
