It all depends on your grinder, amount, and ensuring a tight seal
This takes a little work to dial in. Firstly, let me say that if you don’t have a decent grinder (at least a decent conical burr grinder that can go pretty fine) skip this. A blade grinder won’t cut it and a cheap $50 grinder - even conical burr grinder at this price point - won’t cut it either. Cheap grinders just won’t grind fine enough nor have a consisten grind for decent extraction. So, make sure to grind pretty fine and consistently. Second, you’ll need a decent coffee scale (or something that has one-tenth of a gram precision) to measure the amount of coffee. I use 5 grams per capsule (when using darker roasts) and can push to 5.5-6 grams (medium to light roasts). Although the instructions say not to press like you’re filling a portafilter for espresso, you should give the capsule some light taps on the counter and still press it with enough pressure to allow about a 1mm space at the top, so it’s not a very light press like the instructions might have you believe. This will minimize channeling and help create pressure. I think they just want to make sure you don’t tamp like you would for an espresso machine, but it’s still a decent amount of “tamping” with the included scoop. Speaking of the scoop - do NOT use it to measure. You want consistency once you dial it in to your liking. So, again, use a coffee scale or other precise food scale. Finally, before placing the seal, make sure there are no coffee grounds on the rim. Rub around the rim with your dry finger to remove any coffee grounds in order to ensure a tight seal because pressure is important. If any grounds are stuck on the rim, you just won’t get a good seal and lose pressure leading to uneven or low extraction. In the end, it takes some work, but so does any decent cup of coffee. Experiment and find the amount or roast you like. It works well for us. In my pictures I compare Peet’s Coffee to one of these pods. I was still dialing it in so it’s a little lighter at this point but worked really well!

They slip right through into the used pod spot
I liked that these were easy to refill and the stickers were good quality. They came off cleanly after the pods were cool. I was even able to reuse some disposable pods. The reusable pods slip right through the top Into the used pod spot. They work great when you can get them into the proper position. I prefer to just reuse the disposables with the included stickers. The pods make good crema on the top the espresso. I find packing it a bit tighter makes better crema

Works great on Creatista! Now I can use any coffee beans I want.
I tried Capmeso on my Creatista. One was with Capmeso pod and the other was a refilled nespresso pod and used one of the sticker lid. I didn't overfill and just pat it down as I was filling. The lid stick really well and there was no residue at all. One thing I noticed was it was much harder to push the stainless steel, I was even hesitant to do it but it went well. Compared to the original pod, it is much shorter so it wont damage the puncture part of the machine. Both espresso came out delicious and same crema amount. I do notice that there were some coffee grounds in my cup on both of them. I emptied my tumbler in a bowl so you'll see it in the last picture. I used fine grind espresso, Cafe Bustelo in particular. I will try and use medium and in between medium-fine next time. Would I recommend this? Definitely. I can use any coffee beans of my choice and no guilt feeling of having to use non-recyclable plastic pods.

I bought these on Amazon to use in my combo Nespresso/Keurig machine and I am NOT disappointed! They're easy to use, the instructions are good, particularly the grind recommendation for coffee beans. I normally buy Lavazza pods and thought I might buy the coffee to use in these, but I have a bag from an upscale coffee shop at the mall where I work. I tried them in the Keurig pods but didn't like it much. However they're perfect in the Capmesso pods! Now I get to enjoy this amazing coffee the way it was meant to be. The pods are also easy to retrieve and to clean; the lids come off very easily even after perforation by my brewer. I love these and will definitely be buying more lids to keep using them. Instead of spending $0.60 per pod I'm down to about $0.02 per cup of espresso and that's after buying the 2lb bag! Do yourself a favour and save your coffee money!

I`m happy that I ordered it as now I can drink my favorite coffee, not the one which they out in other pods. The process is quick when u make a habit and it worth it. The water is coming a bit more slow than in one time use pods but it`s fine. I was trying to press the coffee inside more and less and realized that it should not be pressed to hard than it works better. I will buy more such to have them ready and just to use.

Works perfectly with my Nespresso Breville. I still have to find the perfect ground to make the best coffee but very economical and easy to use.

I was actually very pleasantly surprised with how well the coffee turned out with this reusable pod. Of course as you would expect, you need to have the proper grind size, and it should be tamped down the proper amount (quite lightly worked fine for me). But the results I must say are very impressive. I had good quality beans on hand, and surely enough, it produced exactly the same amount of crema, and even better taste than many of the official pods (this of course will vary significantly on the quality and grind of your coffee). I already happened to have a handheld ceramic burr grinder, so I'm able to get perfect grind, but the pre-ground espresso coffee I also had worked really well too, and tasted great. I just wish they were cheaper, because I'd love to have 12+ reusable cups, so I could pre-make a dozen of them to save time on the whole refilling process, which is really the only downside I see to using these vs. the official ones. Still gotta give only a 4/5 because of the value though. Ignoring the purchase of the cups themselves, the one use foil caps at 10c a piece, is about 10% the cost of the official pod. Thin piece of foil being 10% of the cost of a coffee pod seems excessive. Should probably be 5c/foil, and just sold in a larger quantity.
