So literally just now, as I sat to review this toy, my naked, bath-bound 3-year-old son interrupts me. "Dad! Where's X? Can you find X?" This kid needs this toy to play, to go outside, to fall asleep, and yes, he needs it for bathtime, too. And the damage he puts that toy through, it's intense. But the plastic is pretty thick. This is a solid toy. And, just to let the kid in me get out a bit, this guy has some real solid engineering. I played with Transformers myself as a kid and I've seen the new ones they make nowadays. These Young Toys/Tobot guys are leaving them in the dust with their design/looks. Can't wait to get Tobot Y in the mail and see the look on my kid's face!

It's compact and seems well built. The transformation is not too complicated, and easy to perform by a 6 year old. Just remember it's a mid sized transformer as you can see from the photo, and I believe the price is reasonable for the size too. Also, when transformed the car is reasonably big enough.

This is a very sturdy and versatile toy. My son takes it everywhere with him. It keeps him entertained as well. The transforming capabilities us a bit much for a 3 yr old, but he's tenacious about learning and he's never bored with it. This was a fantastic toy and with the money.

Our toddler son loves Tobot. This was above his age range, but with a handful of lessons he’s figured it out on his own. Seems durable as he is tough with his toys. In comparison to what I’ve seen in cost at Asian markets, this was less expensive.
