Good quality, high concentration, noticeable result. Way to expensive for this kind of product.

I purchased this maca powder hoping for a boost in energy and wellness benefits, but my experience has been disappointing. The item arrived with damaged packaging, and most of the powder had spilled out, creating a mess. On top of that, the taste was noticeably different from other maca powders I’ve tried – almost stale or off, which made me question its quality. While I understand issues can happen during shipping, the taste and overall experience didn’t meet my expectations.

I bought Sunfood Superfoods Organic Red Maca Powder to add to smoothies and oatmeal. The powder feels fresh and high quality, and the strength is noticeable. The taste is strong and earthy, so I mix it with bananas, cocoa, or peanut butter to make it easier to take. I started with a small amount and increased slowly, which helped avoid stomach upset. I noticed a mild boost in energy and overall well being, but results will vary by person. For the amount you get, the value is fair if you use it regularly.

This is the best maca powder I have ever used. I have tried others and thought I noticed some benefit. But, with the SunFoods' brand, I notice a huge difference every time I drink it in my smoothies. My mood lifts dramatically and I have much more energy. And this comes from just a tablespoon. I might actually taper it down a bit to make it last longer. I don't need to be that chipper and happy at work - you know, that place where I'm supposed to be miserable!? I'll have a full tablespoon on the weekends instead. In fact, it just started kicking in and that is what prompted me to write a review. Great stuff!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!! ;)

I was worried about the taste, but to me it tastes very good and I think the smell is absolutely wonderful. I mix it in milk, with or without protein powder and I think it makes the milk taste better. I don't have a health problem I am using it for, but it has either a positive effect or no effect at all. I have been feeling about the same or better.

Red Maca Powder from Sunfood is a great product. I don't love the earthy flavor, but I understand the value of adding Red Maca Powder to my diet. It has helped me with perimenopausal symptoms, and I will continue to use it. I just put it in water and drink it like a shot. Sometimes I add black seed oil and honey with the powder for antioxidants and weight loss. I will continue to use this supplement while I am trying to balance hormones.
