For Beginner Streamers on a Budget!
As someone just starting out with streaming on a budget, one of the biggest challenges was figuring out how to capture my party chat without buying an expensive mixer. I use a PlayStation 5 and a cheap capture card, and I was looking for a simple, affordable solution. This ienza Party Chat Link cable is exactly what I needed. Setup is simple. It's truly plug-and-play. I plugged one end into my controller's headset jack, connected my headset to the female port, and ran the long end into the analog-in port on my capture card. My computer and OBS recognized the audio source immediately. There were no drivers to install or complicated settings to mess with. It just worked, right out of the box. The audio quality is not perfect you might hear a little static depending on what's beaning played but the sound is clear. My stream can now hear all my friends in the party chat perfectly, and it blends seamlessly with the game audio. For the price, this cable is an unbeatable value. It solves a problem that could otherwise cost hundreds of dollars to fix with more professional equipment. If you're a new streamer who wants to include your friends' hilarious commentary in your content without breaking the bank, this is the perfect tool for you. Highly recommended!

It does what it is supposed to do very well.
Bought this as an alternative to the chat link sold by elgato. The performance is perfect, and it definitely does the same job the chat link would have done if it was ever restocked and on sale. Only real con I would have to say is that when you have the charger for your controller plugged in at the same time it makes a constant static sound that gets picked up by the capture card as well. I'm not sure if this occurs with the elgato chat link but it definitely ruins the gameplay so beware. Aside from that, I would recommend this to anyone trying to capture game chat with friends for the PS4. Just a little tip for people trying to record with this cable, the audio gets picked up as "game sounds" for the capture card (specifically the elgato HD60 for me). So if your game volume is too high your friends chat audio will be barely audible. So make sure you change your volume accordingly.

Only partial audio in headset.
There is only audio from the left side of my headset. When connecting my headset directly to my controller it works perfectly fine, so the issue is 100% the adapter. When using the official elgato adapter it worked fine from both parts of the headset, however that only lasted around a month before there was extreme static coming from that one. I would have to recommend the official elgato one over this, however those are very poor quality and would have to be replaced often. There needs to be a 3rd vendor to make a quality adapter that will last and work completely.

Honest Truth
I wish I could give this like a 3.75 star rating. But obviously, that doesn't exist. I will say that at first, I was very hesitant to buy this specific item because $9.95??? That sounds too good to be true. But I was researching what would be the best way to connect my gaming chat with my stream and it was either this or elgato chatlink pro. And when I read the reviews for the chatlink pro, I thought well I don't want to spend $20 for a piece of junk so I'll just go with this $10 one. Cord is very generic, although very long, which is great if your capture card is a bit further away from you. I did not use it right away because I was unsure how to use it with the elgato hd60x but YouTube is very good for step by step instructions. Please make sure that whatever capture card you use with this, you change your audio input settings. Or none of your audio will show up on your stream. (I'm new to streaming and capture cards so this was a hard lesson to learn) Sometimes you can hear a buzzing sound. But if you move the jack a little bit around, it'll go away. Sometimes when you plug it in, you can only hear out of the left headphone. AGAIN, you gotta move that jack around a little bit to hit the sweet spot then you're good. Which from reading the reviews for the elgato chatlink pro, that was a big issue as well. I didn't want to spend more than $10 for this particular item, because I didn't think I would use it a lot since I am mostly doing solo streams and people can be annoying on coms (especially COD). But every now and again, I hop on with friends or my girlfriend and I have no issue. It works like it's supposed to. And I don't have any major issues that would make me want to return it. Like I said, it is not a daily use thing so I can't speak on durability for a specific length of time. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase. I didn't spend a lot of money and it's still a fairly good piece of tech that I can add to my stream when need be.

Works fine, just had to push a little harder to get it to accept my headset input.
The cable works just like the elgato chat link. It seems to be made from a bit more flimsy material that the name brand but not by much. Had some issues with the headset jack when trying to plug in my Hyper X Cloud Core 2. The jack wouldn't seat all the way in. I switched to a Razer headset that had a slightly slimmer input and it worked fine. Switched back to my Hyper X and had to push a little harder to get it to seat in the input all the way. Once I did this it works fine. If you encounter this just push a little harder than normal and you should be fine.

It really isn't what I expected to be all I wanted to do was connect it all from my gaming headset to my elgatoHd60s capture card on my PS4. The sound keeps crackling and is always muffled.
