Very good quality, the sound is very clear and the weight, material, and overall feel of the kalimba is perfect. Solid kalimbas can be heavy if you play for long periods so I definitely think hollowed ones are the way to go if you have joint issues or arthritis in your hands/wrists. All of the accessories are very nice, I like that you can clip the chain on it to change the sound.

Beautiful instrument. A nice sound. Great packaging. The protective case is great, as you can bring this kalimba with you and keep it safe from being damaged.

Such a beautiful instrument...except the tines had a dull gray film. I used the included cloth, but that didn’t work. I read somewhere to use metal polish, but didn’t want to do that. Read somewhere else to use a pen eraser. After nearly an hour erasing the tines and using the cloth, it looks brand new (😶) Hopefully, I won’t hear an eraser is bad for the tines somewhere else. On a high note, perfectly in tune out of the box. A pretty, mellow, full tone. I’ll definitely buy the 34 note by LingTing when funds permit.
