Made it worse and clumps of hair falling out
Do not use. I made the mistake of not reading the negative reviews which had the same reaction. My cat’s whole head went red & fur all fallen out the next day and didn’t even help with the scratching because she was still scratching after it. I only washed her head with this shampoo and I’m thankful I didn’t do the rest of her. DO NOT BUY.

My GSP suffers from itching from environment allergies, having had her on Apoquel in the past, I'm trying not to have to put her on it again, so I tried the "Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Hot Spot & Itch Relief Medicated Shampoo for Dogs." I shampooed her according to the directions, and once she was dry, her itching seemed to stop! She had hot spots on her tummy, and those have disappeared as well! She was licking her paws raw at times, and that seems to have also stopped! Today is only the 3rd day since her shampoo, so I'm waiting to see how long it lasts, but I am VERY happy to see her relief! I so far, would highly recommend this product for an itchy dog.

My crazy tortie cat decided to eat her own arms and attack me if I tried to stop her. Meds and e-collars were really hard and she fought it all but she actually would lie down and relax in a bath of this shampoo. She even let me massage her raw little arms with the lather and she purred and almost fell asleep. I bathed her every other day for a week and all that awful dermatitis calmed down to the point where her fur is growing back and she’s happy again.

Gave my cat a bath with this shampoo. He had been itching non stop like crazy, and he really hasn't itched much since I bathed him using this shampoo. I'm actually very surprised.will.buy shampoo again
