Quantum Field Theory: An Integrated Approach

Comprehensive book on quantum field theory for both high energy and condensed matter

Very well balanced book. treats both high energy physics, but also myriad applications and its relation to statistical and condensed matter physics, unlike many other QFT texts that just focus on being good with cross section scattering for relativistic QFT.

This book suffers from the same problem a lot of other physics books suffer from: poorly written text and derivations. Some topics are introduced without any justification and you are left wondering why you are doing things, or where certain ideas came from because they are not clearly developed. It also seems like the author expects the reader to already know many of the topics being covered, which may be the case in Argentina, but as a US physics PhD student I have not been introduced to certain topics as much as it is expected.

Nice book, there was only a problem with the product marked as arrived even though it arrived 2 days later, but still the book is awesome and arrived in pristine condition.

This is a modern comprehensive book. Focused on both conceptual and calcualational . Oriented towards holistic picture of Quantum field theory. It looks like the author tried to put forward a minimum basic quantum field theory needed for every theorist, irrespective of areas.
