I came on here just to review this top-coat, because it is AWESOME! I am extremely impressed. Cost is great compared to other brands that arent nearly as good. Its super shiny, durable and dries very fast (trust me, I only use nail polish that dries fast because I always end up touching something and ruining my nails, it has to dry fast!). I used it over other nail polish that wasnt essie, but I will definitely be trying essie gel couture polish with this top coat. Love it. Buy it, its awesome!

I had a terrible reaction to gel nails. 6 months later, I am still recovering from the damage but regrowth is almost complete. A thorough search to find an alternative polish for my nails which were pretty thin from removing the gel, ESSIE came up as a good choice. I first tried this product in February '23 and was immediately pleased with the results. Easy to apply, drying time was short, no LED lights needed, my damaged, thin nails were protected once ESSIE polish and top coat was complete, and I found it lasted 2 weeks. AND - no reaction. Like most polish, there can be a bit of wear on the tips, but I then applied a coat of regular nail polish to recoat and that lasted days. Now, I like to apply a coat of regular nail polish just because I can. When I ordered ESSIE polish, the colour I preferred the most wasn't available at the time. That's not a problem. I recommend ESSIE for it's easy and quick application, long lasting wear, and easy removal. If you like extra long nails, this isn't the product for you. But if you like "normal" and "nice" nails, I suggest you give ESSIE a try. I am a pianist. Long nails don't appeal to me. But I do like my nails to look cared for. ESSIE gives me the look I'm wanting.
