It is an extensive set with lots of pieces. Expensive but lots of play value.

I can not compare it to the other. However, I will say that this is time consuming and the directions are backwards on some things. And some directions were just left out and you just had to assume. It took about 1-2 hours to put together with my 6 year olds assistance.
