USB Headset H340, Stereo, USB Headset for Windows and Mac - Black

Not the most sophisticated headset out there, but I was looking for something USB, inexpensive, reliable, and lite weight. These work great. I use them for work meetings about an hour or so a day. Sound quality is actually very good, exceeds what I expected. And mic quality seems AOK, no complaints downstream when I speak. There is no mute or volume on the chord. Which is better in my opinion. No chance of changing volume or mute by accident by inadvertently pressing a button. And one less thing to break down the road. Can't go wrong with these. If you live on the headset, I'd probably recommend something heavier duty. But for normal use, these are perfect.

For me ergonomics means not only how easily it is to use it, but also how easily it stores out of the way when not being used. I keep mine plugged into a USB port in the back, and laying on top of my desktop. This headset works fine in that the mic hides away and does not get in the way, and the ear covers are not too big for the headband not to lay down flatly enough on top of the box. Also being a cheap set, it has no volume/stereo control boxes hanging off the headband and bang into the desktop/wooden desk. Sound quality is fine enough for me. I tested them with both movies, songs and shooting games. Mic works too. Mic swivels down, but only in one direction. The headband is adjustable. It has a bit of a snug fit, so if you work 8 hrs a day with the headset on, I can see that being a problem at first till the parts loosen up. I don't expect to be wearing it on for more than 2 hrs at a time, i.e. watching a DVD or whatever. The ears have a sponge cover which I can see wearing out first. Last pair which lasted a few years had some plastic padding with sponge in the middle, and that lasted quite a while. This sponge may not last quite as long, but at $25/pop 3 yrs life time is fine by me. I got this set a few weeks ago, at $25.72, enough to qualify for FREE shipping. Now they dropped the price to $22.86, and item is too cheap to qualify for FREE shipping when purchased by itself. With the $8 shipping charge, this is now a $30+ item. I will update the review if unexpected issues come up.

I've tried a variety of gaming headsets over the years, and as someone with a larger head, finding a comfortable fit is crucial to avoid headaches. I appreciate that this particular headset is an on-ear design, which helps keep my ears cool during the summer months. Surprisingly, the sound quality is excellent, and the microphone performs well too. I find myself repeatedly purchasing this same headset because it meets my needs so well. However, there is one drawback: the wiring in the ear cups tends to wear out after about a year. The thin wires can fray or loosen due to frequent adjustments, which is why I end up buying a new one annually. Despite this issue, the headset is very affordable and delivers great sound quality, so I can't really complain—though improving the wiring would certainly enhance its longevity.

These headphones are amazing. Hands down. I online game and one of the things I cannot stand is my ears getting hot. My latest actiity online is online air traffic control where you talk to other airline pilots and simulate being an air traffic controller. I know it is a serious nerd hobby but i am an aviator and I love it. These headphones are exciting. REALLY exciting. The cord comes out of one side of the headphones. The cable is thick enough to be well made but not too big to be cumbersome. The build quality is excellent as well. No cheap chinese plastic here. It is very sturdy. I am getting EXCELLENT sound reports from pilots saying "you should perfect" The headphones weigh next to nothing. They feel like you are wearing nothing as well. Well built all around. I am extremely amazed. The microphone is not in front of your face either it is off to the side and despite this picks up EVERYTHING you need. On to the other reports of "Hissing" from the other reviewers. What they are experiencing is the recording settings on the headset. The microphone is playing through their speaker. That is a configuration problem of their computer NOT the headset. If anything it is an indication of how well that microphone works. How do THEY fix their headphone problem? Well I only know windows but in windows you select in the microphone settings for windows to NOT play the microphone sounds in the headset. PROBLEM SOLVED. To say that these headphones dont work. Or "Hiss" is 100% inaccurate that is the configuration of your operating system. This IS covered in the manual and it is NOT the standard behavior of this headset. No drivers too. Just plug in and go. I have plugged it into 3 machines thus far Windows XP SP3. Windows 7 and Windows 8 64bit. They all work PERFECTLY. I felt i had to do this review because the other two low reviews are wrong and do not reflect this product. Buy with 100% confidence. They are absolutely fantastic.

I am a logitech fan. I love this style. It's comfortable, easy to set up and use. I don't like bulky headphone. This one is minimalistic I would say and that's what I love the most about it. I've owned one in the past that I used for years and at some point someone stepped on it and that's why I ordered another one.

My wife is old school and won't give Bluetooth headphones a chance (I know - what's with that?!). But luckiy Logitech had these available and she loves them. They have a great sound and are comfortable. Very reliable as well - she has no issues with connection to Teams calls. I bought a second just in case she goes back into and office. I would make this purchase again. 👍

mine lasted less than 5 months. I mostly kept it in a draw and used it once or twice a week. The microphone works but I no longer get sound through the headset. Tried it on multiple computers to make sure it wasn't just a bad USB port.

The sound quality is excellent, and the mic picks up sound perfectly. I did encounter some issues setting up the headset with my laptop (Windows 11) — I had to download a driver manually. However, once I figured that out and installed the driver, everything works great.

My wife was very pleased with the comfort and sound quality for Home-office use...

Have only had this headset for a week but it was easy to setup and seems to work well. Wanted a microphone to input text to Office 365 and this headset does that extremely well. Comfortable to wear and audio is fine.
