This bag is fantastic. EXACTLY what I wanted. Plenty of organization with the three zippered front pockets of different sizes,, the biggest of which has spots for paper/files, a large pouch for a BP cuff and another pouch for a stethoscope, etc, As well as two velcro pouches on the side for misc items. there is 1 big main compartment which I LOVE that it is big enough for EVERYTHING I could want to bring.... I am an ER nurse working 12 hour shifts, and I can fit my lunch bag, a small snack bag with granola bars/fruit, a large water bottle AND coffee thermos, a light jacket, and still have some room to spare... and this is only the main compartment! The greatest part..... It has a hinged top- when you open it, there is a frame to the main compartment that keeps it standing upright and wide open... making it super easy to find things.... Unlike floppy/flexible bags that fold in on themselves, and you find things getting lost in a black-hole. I also love that it has a padded shoulder strap AND padded handles on top- that velcro together if need be. ---Those handles make a big difference! I like to keep my bag on the front seat next to me when I am driving, and getting this slightly large, often loaded/heavy bag in and out of the car is made so easy thanks to those handles. Make: To me, this bag feels INCREDIBLY sturdy and well made. The material is very tough and water resistant, the zippers are good.... I think the quality is pretty great and it has already withstood several months of heavy duty wear-and-tear without the tiniest sign of use.... Could be brand new. From the quality and the way it is made, I believe it to be high quality, long-lasting and durable. All in all: If you want a bag that can fit a LOT of stuff, has a moderate amount of organization, can stand up on its own and stay open without falling over and folding in on itself, is tough, durable, and water resistant... THIS IS THE BAG FOR YOU! Note: Some reviews claimed this bag did not have enough organization. If you have a need for something with a zillion pockets for a bunch of little items... Then no it doesn't. But if you are a nurse and need to fit all the basics: lunch, water, coffee, stethoscope, wallet, cell phone, jacket, snacks, pen light, trauma scissors, etc.... Then has the perfect amount of organization. If you still have the need to have a bunch of little items you don't want to get lost... then you could always put in a purse organizer or zippered sleeve or something, because I still think this is the best bag out there. If I had known these bags existed while I was in school, I would have gotten one in a plain black or blue and used it in place of a backpack. The design, spaciness and functionality would have made life easier.

I am a nurse as well as a nursing student and this bag holds everything I could possibly ever need for a 12+hr shift as well as all of my school stuff WITH plenty of room to spare!! It hold my 15” MacBook, my 12.5” iPad Pro, a binder, notebook, thick daily planner, 2 pen organizers (one full of nurse goodies: scissors thermometer, sanitizer, etc), and everything you'd ever need in the front pockets! Oh, and SNACKS! Lots of room for snacks! Needless to say, when full like this, the bag is VERY HEAVY and I have still yet to see any seems stretching or ripping in slightest! The bottom is reinforced and sturdy as well as the shoulder strap! I have tried many bags and backpacks in the past and they were all either too small, not enough pockets/organization, or just too bulky and I ended up looking like I was moving into the place because of all the bags I needed to carry (lol!). This bag gives a new meaning to the never ending “Marry Poppins” bag! it’s a little pricier than other bags (but not by much) and 100% worth it!! Do yourself a Favor and get this bag!! Worst case, If it doesn’t work out, you can just return it. Until then, just buy the bag and Thank me later! 😉😎

This is my 2nd Nurse Mates Bag. I work as a home care nurse and my bags get a lot of wear-and-tear. My last bag I was forced to get rid of because it finally was wearing a hole in the bottom. I got myself a new one (same style and size) and it holds all of my equipment for in-home patient visits, personal protection equipment, and devices for charting. It is absolutely the most perfect size and I use every single compartment. I will continue to re-buy this exact style bag as needed. They hold up very well. My last bag lasted over 2 years but I have to mention I am VERY hard on my bags (getting in/out cars, tossing it up/down steps/landings/concrete, wearing across my back while doing CPR, wiping with SaniWipes between visits, washing with bleach after Roach infested homes, etc) and it is still durable! You cannot beat the price. My favorite part of the bag is that you can wipe it clean which is important for infection control.

I purchased this bag for use when taking nursing students to clinical sites. Before, I used a backpack to bring an array of clinical papers, resources, an iPad, and my own clinical supplies. Unfortunately, my clinical supplies seemed to never have a perfect spot in the bag and tended to run all around in there. This bag allows me to bring all of my necessary supplies, while keeping my clinical supplies, including my stethoscope, separated and protected. The main pocket of the bag is quite roomy, and if needed, I would have the room to store a significant amount of client care supplies such as dressings and phlebotomy equipment. The outer pockets are well organized with multiple small pockets for organization. The seams and zippers are sturdy and stitched well. The fabric is durable and can be wiped clean easily. When full, the bag feels well balanced, and the shoulder strap is very comfortable. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase, and I was able to save about $10 in comparison to the cost of this bag through a popular nursing supply site.

The bag was perfect I got all off stuff in it including my lap.
