Just go for it!
It's worthy and best for leather and rubber based footwear repair. took 1 day to completely dry the gum and it is 100% effective and durable.

Most useful adhesive for shoes and crocs.
It's an extremely durable adhesive when applied correctly. The rubber strip around my Crocs had come out. I sanded the place and the strip's contact surface with a sand paper then cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol so that no grimes remained and then applied the glue with a wooden ice-cream stick. After this I tied the whole thing with rubber bands and left the contraption untouched for 28 hours indoors. Suffice to say that the glue is still holding up after being through rain and extreme heat. Must buy if you want a reliable adhesive for shoes.

Strong bond for book binding (Rexine/Fabric)
I used Fevicol SR 998 for book binding, specifically to stick fabric upholstery rexine. The adhesive is very strong and gives a firm hold once it sets. After drying, the binding feels solid and doesn’t peel off easily. Just make sure to apply a thin, even layer on both sides and give enough drying/pressing time for the best result.
