Fantastic Blue Tooth Mouse
I used to be a die-hard fan of Logitech Mouses. I bought a new computer and it has Bluetooth. I got tired of my wired mouse cord always catching on something on my desk so I decided to get a Bluetooth mouse for it. I took my Logitech mouse from my laptop, which worked perfectly on the laptop, and unplugged my corded mouse, and plugged in the dongle for the Logitech mouse. At first it worked good, then it started to be very jumpy. I don't know if the Bluetooth from the computer was causing this. I can't turn off the Bluetooth in the computer because my wireless speakers are using it. I started looking for a wireless Logitech Mouse that didn't need a dongle, and wasn't prohibitively expensive. I couldn't find one but came across this Microsoft mouse so I decided to try it. When it got here I turned it on, and it went into pairing mode. The computer Bluetooth found it immediately and everything is working fine. I can't speak to how long the batteries will last since I've only been using it for a few days. I haven't had the problem that others have had where if it is idle for a while you have to turn it off and back on to get it to work again. I would say my hands are slightly larger than normal, and this mouse is very comfortable. If I could change one thing it would be the two buttons on the left side that I use as Back and Forward buttons. For me they need to be just a little more forward from their current position. I don't see this as a great problem because I'm sure I'll get used to their position after I've used this mouse for a while. I highly recommend this mouse!

Great mouse as long as you're fine with the thumb rest.
Updated: So I gave this mouse another try, seems to work well. I don't believe the mouse was causing the pain. So I changed the review back to 5 stars, would recommend this mouse as it's very easy to use, comfortable and very easy to connect. Build quality feel really nice, no unusual noise when using. The feel of the plastic is quite nice. The metal scroll wheel feel nice and premium. Ease of use is really easy on a Windows 10 machine with bluetooth. Basically turn it on, Windows detects it and your off. The software works well, isn't intrusive and is we'll laid out. There is an option to change the DPI up to 2400. Comfort for me wasn't what I was expecting. I really liked the style and even some of the comfort features. For me personally, the thumb rest caused an unusual amount of pain under my thumb. If it wasn't for that thumb rest, this would certainly be a 5 star other and I'd still be using it. Ultimately, I had to return this as I was not comfortable when using this. I would still recommend as long as your grip isn't like mine. I'm guessing I have a lazy claw grip and at times a fingertip grip. I was very disappointed this didn't work for me as it's overall a wonderful mouse.

Comfortable, Smooth, Simple
I was looking to replace a standard wired mouse that came with my laptop. The 4 small pads/bumpers on the bottom of my old mouse have long fallen off and the mouse easily got "sticky" and dragged. This new one has large area teflon slides/pads on the bottom making the cursor motion quite smooth are are easy to wipe clean when they pick up any grimy stuff from the desk surface over time. I wanted just a simple mouse with left & right clicker plus a scroll wheel as it suits most typical computer interactions. This mouse does have two left-thumb customizable buttons which I don't need or want, but they're easily ignored both functionally and physically if you don't need them. There's a rest for my thumb (left hand), a feature that I've never had before but I found to be surprisingly comfortable. The thumbwheel has straight knurling for positive grip and has gentle but smooth detents as you rotate it. The thumbwheel "click" function is easy to actuate when you need it but firm enough to avoid accidental wheel-clicks when you don't want to. I have a few weeks of daily use on it now and the batteries are still OK. I don't turn off the mouse bluetooth or power switches between uses so I may not achieve the 15 month claim for battery life, but I'd rather change the two batteries every several weeks to a few months rather than always turning the switches off and on again every time I end or start a computer session. Overall I like it.

A bit laggy after every 5 seconds the mouse went to sleep
The mouse has an excellent build quality and fits in hand well. But it has that minute lag after 5 seconds the mouse left untouched. I don’t care for that lag actually. Overall it’s the best for the buck. Dec 26th 2023- 2year update: last month my mouse started acting weird. It started scrolling by itself. At first I thought the battery is out, it’s same after changing the battery. I think the scroll functionality is messed up. Rest all works fine, the connectivity the response etc… I’ll switch to Logitech this time!

Love these so much I just bought number five.
This is the best mouse I have ever had. Bluetooth is so much better than USB. All of the buttons are fully user programmable and can work on up to three different computers, with the click of a button. The wheel is silent, and it is ergonomic, it is the perfect hand size with a thumb rest. I am still using the first three that I bought in 2021, one for home, one for work and one for my husband's laptop. I like them so much that I bought two more as back-ups. I haven't needed them yet, but I want to make sure that if they are discontinued, I have replacements. The batteries last about 6 months for me and I never "shut them off" because my mouse pad that I have was dragging on the switch and turning it off, I just put a piece of scotch tape over the switch to prevent my mouse pad from shutting it off inadvertently. I have the light blue, peach and black colors and the light blue one does stain, but it is less noticeable on the black and peach colors. Not a deal breaker, I can easily live with that.

This mouse is very comfortable during use, and the energy consumption is not bad. After a year and a half using it, still on the first battery installed, using it everyday. Ergonomics are good and feeling on the skin is too. The mouse is lighter than a similar priced Logitech mouse. This is not a mouse designed for gaming but can do the job for most games. Only downside is that the scrolling is only incremental, and I really like a free spin scrolling.

I love this no dongle mouse. I don't have to switch USB dongle switching between my computers. It connects so quickly to my computers through bluetooth. The only thing that can be improved is the bluetooth switch button, its located at the bottom of the mouse, I have to flip it over to switch. Other than that, it's great build quality, feels very comfortable. The two sides are soft touch silicon-like texture.

With the pop-up "Keyboard and Mouse Center" software installed, I found this mouse to have a lot of input latency (delay), be generally inaccurate, and have very inconsistent movement sensitivity. It also caused at least one very odd issue with Excel, where "inserting copied cells" would add hundreds of thousands of columns of the same data to the sheet. After un-pairing it, removing the software, and re-pairing the mouse, I found the experience much improved. There is still a small amount of latency - expected in a Bluetooth device of any kind - but otherwise operation is much more consistent.

Very responsive, use this mouse for both my Dell laptop and work laptop, switches between 2 flawlessly. It's very simply in its design but feels premium. Originally going to buy the Logitech M720, as similar feature set, but this feels better in hand and looks better.
