Nothing wrong with it, works as expected good price

Easy to use the right hand side lock on the sliding transom is not as good as the left hand side. It's OK for hobbyists Accurate if your not heavy handed with the thin plastic set squares etc. If you need extreme accuracy use a cad app or get a more proffesional drawing system.

This drawing board is a lifesaver for students! It’s sturdy, lightweight, and makes drawing and sketching so much easier. Perfect for homework or art projects, and totally worth the investment.

For the price it is unrealistic to expect Rolls Royce quality. However the drawing board must still be fit for purpose otherwise it is a waste of money. Observations on my specific board: The main straight edge moves well, the reference to a permanently lubricated guide track is puzzling since it is plastic moving on plastic. The second locking facility on the right hand side of the straight edge is required for accuracy. To use it takes some practise. The angle markings in the drafting square were misaligned which could lead to inaccurate results. Both the drafting square and set square have “play” on the track but can be used accurately provided they are positioned in a consistent manner. The paper clamping appeared OK based on limited use. For critical drawings it would be necessary to ensure consistent alignment of the straight edge and the squares - possible with care.

Had one a few years ago and this one is much the same standard. Benefit of this one is the addition of supports that raise the board to an angle making it much better for creating small ish artworks on. The underside has small rubber feet so that it is less likely to slip on a flat surface. The parallel motion and draft head are not essential for me, but I appreciate that for some they will be necessary. Definitely a step up from my wooden art board that was becoming gummed up from the tape I was using.

good price compared to some. Quality is good and it is nice and sturdy. It helps to transport my drawings to and from my classes safely and is comfortable to draw on.
