Very sturdy and stable
I really like this boom! It is strong enough to easily hold a Blue Yeti mic, and the mic threads right onto the adapter at the end of the boom. The joints have adjustments to make them easier or harder to move. The built-in cable management is a really nice touch and gives the setup a clean look. The clamp is large enough to fit over my 2-inch thick desktop without any problems. My only minor complaint is the pin that goes from the bottom of the boom into the desktop mount is a little loose. The only time you notice it is when you have the joints pretty tight and lift the mic. Fortunately, I don't have to do that because I can swing the boom/mic out of the way.

Sturdy
Perfect mic stand. No this isn’t a paid review I’m dead ass giving you a honest review. This is strong and I mean strong and could be to strong as well, I’ve had this for 3 or so years and my boyfriend has seizures and has grand maul seizures and he’s hit the mic and it’s stayed up strong. Very sturdy and it holds a good amount of weight . He also man handles it and yanks it a lot it’s perfect for that big man 🖤

An In-Depth and Honest Review
I use this mount for a Blue Snowball which weighs 1.01 lbs. It sees heavy use as I am talking to my friends on Discord and for class. Tolerance Issues The cable clamps on the arm do not click in some places for me. Seems to only want to solidly click in the middle of the cable raceway. I suggest using some Velcro straps at the ends of the raceways. Another place where tolerances do not seem to be the best is the linkage where the arm itself slots into the female end of the mount itself. It was noticeable at first however did not think it would be an issue. It has become quite annoying now as fine minor adjustments are nearly impossible. Unintended movement of the arm at the base of the microphone mount is 1". I have made sure everything is seated properly and both ends are clean and free of debris. Build Quality Overall the build quality is good. Starting from the bottom, I did not use the clamp as I specifically wanted a grommet. The base itself is well seated and was easy to install. The mount itself while I appreciate the ability to quickly remove it if need be I would have rather preferred the arm and base to be connected. The connecting rods feel very sturdy. They're made out of aluminum and have a nice matte black finish on them. The circular constructs that connect the rods are however made of plastic. They feel cheap and have a different finish from the rods that is subtle, but noticeable at a quick glance. The microphone mounting hardware is made out of steel and feels very nice to the touch. Screws in nicely and the microphone feels secure. The cable tensioners do not secure the cable nicely and I have to readjust often. Have not seen any issues with that, however over time that may become an issue. Overall It's a good arm if you're looking for something easy to put together and has a decent build. If you could figure out a way to eliminate the tolerance issues it could easily be 5 stars. The amazon listing says it can support 4.4 Lbs. However do not be fooled it can only support 2.2 Lbs.

Great Boom, great brand.
This is the best mic boom I've ever bought, and it's super consistent. I've tried doing a lot of different setups, trying to figure out what it's weakness is. It does have some issues with heavier mics, but overall, the mic boom by Mount-It is sturdy, sleek, has a great base and smooth mechanisms make this a great buy.

I love it. Will likely buy more.
Considering I can buy two of these for less than the price of the other brands, and it offers all the same functionality/etc as those. There's nothing to complain about. If I HAD to pick one negative, it'd be that the cable clips don't clip in very securely so the top most clip especially tends to not really be clipped down. The cable still stays in place and everything works as it should so this is the most minor negative aspect ever.

LOVE THIS MIC BOOM
I've bought a number of mic boom arms to use in restaurant & nightclub DJ booths. Many only can clamp to the side of a counter. They shift & can come loose easily + don't work when the counter is against a wall. Other inexpensive boom arms are flimsy and break under duress. This Mount-It does it all & at a great value. It's sturdy, has 2 tension adjustments and can be clamp-mounted or drilled & secured anywhere through a countertop. I bought 1 to try but now it's my new standard. I'm ordering more.

Doesn't lock in place and isn't versatile enough
The tighteners don't hold the joints in place so I can't set it and forget it. The angles are awkward and never where I need them to be. It only works in a couple positions. My mic was always facing away from me on one side and when I tried to adjust it i broke the bolt off inside my mic.... This thing is useless unless you want an inflexible product.

It's a really great product and it's a good fit for anybody needing a boom arm, it's strong, sleek, and just feels really nice to move, it barely moves if you hit it by mistake and if you're intentionally moving it it'll feel like air. Overall great quality and great design if you hate those pesky wires everywhere.

Tronó después de 3 años de la nada, en la madrugada sonó un gran y estruendoso golpe en el escritorio, oh sorpresa! Mount it lo ha hecho! fue bueno mientras duró.

Nice product, it has a good system to hide the cable and keep it clean

My mic is half weight stated and the arm is barely holding on to it and keeps sagging down I have to adjust every time I use it I may be doing something wrong I don't know. The video attached is me tightening it and hitting it lightly and you see it saggs a lot. Otherwise the build quality is ok 3-4 out of 5 for me I like it. Cable management is so nice to have and after everything it still works for me so I'm not buying another if you have a rode podmic or heavier though maybe look elsewhere it says 4.4 lbs but my mic is 930g (about 2lbs or so)

I bought this because of the 4.4lbs rating since I have a fairly heavy mic, a shock mount and a reflection shield. The total weight is maybe around 2.5-3lbs. The arm refused to hold my mic up even at the max tension. It also failed within about 8 months; the swivel base is stuck and won't rotate anymore.
