Chrome Handshower 30-Inch Adjustable Slidebar Assembly, A735

This is a well made slider bar for a hand shower. A big positive is that you can buy a replacement shower head holder if the original one breaks. I have an identical 15 year old bar that the plastic shower holder snapped off and I could still get the replacement part! Moen is a long term brand and stands behind their products. The slider bar is made of a heavy chrome metal material and if mounting to a stud, this bar will hold up if you need to catch your balance. Installation is easy, once you locate some studs in the wall behind the shower. The finish holds up well after years of use. Highly recommended. It may not be the cheapest but it is the best value!

Purchased as a replacement for my older moen shower bar because the plastic attachments at the bottom had broken and could not be replaced. The design of this bar is much better than the original with a single screw\bolt that attaches through the bar and spacer right down the middle of both and into the shower wall. The base spacers are still very inexpensive plastic but hopefully because of the new design will not be an issue. Unfortunately the length of the bar and the new hole placement does not match the old bar. I know have 2 small holes that are exposed in on my solid marble wall that I had to fill with some caulk. Great product if on new construction or you are not trying to match holes. Time will tell on how the plastic spacers hold up.

Perfect replacement for broken piece in the shower.

A bit pricey but works great and easy to install -

This Moen hand shower mount is adjustable up and down and any angle. This vertical rod doubles as a hand hold for older or disabled people. Is is sturdy, well made, and looks great. It is expensive but quality cost money. For me a good value. It comes with high quality mounting hardware. I am very happy.

A pretty good replacement

Moen still makes high quality goods. Bought this as a replacement for same item that was wearing out after 10+ years. Easy to install, looks nice. Just pricy but had to match the other Moen pieces that were part of the shower ensemble.

Product has been amazing as it solved many issues for me buying an older home where previous owners had updated a nice small shower with glassed in doors. Problem is they hung the shower head so high up to accommodate the height of the previous owner that I would have to press up against the glass for it to hit me. The shower also always leaked on out side the glass door. Once I put this in I adjusted it to my height and works great for any height the leaking on to the floor out side the glass doors went away. My 89 year old mother coming to visit at Christmas and I have a shower chair I can put in and she can adjust to the right height for her sitting down. It can be a gab bar as well for older people but requires extra hardware which I did not choose to do. If you buy it as a slide bar for just adjusting up and down it is awesome for many height people. If you want it to also be a grab bar to hold weight then purchase the extra hardware to do so.They actually mentioned that is not a grab bar but can be with extra hardware in the recommendations. Luv it.

When I purchased this I was not aware that it was not spot resistant like other Moen brushed nickel fixtures I have purchased. I didn't realize this until it was installed and used for the first time and I saw the water spots. At that point it was too late to return it since I had already drilled holes in the wall tiles. I'm not sure why it isn't spot resistant. It seems that would be an obvious feature for a shower fixture. At the same time it works well but cleaning it constantly is a pain.

Works fine but cost is too much for what you are getting. Also if you need to mount it on tile without a wood stud behind your costs will go up. They provide you with a very large wing nut for the backside that needs a 5/8" whole drilled through the tile at least - this requires a special $40 drill bit. Its overkill, all that is needed for tile is a 1/4" whole with plugs so I had to buy new long screws for this , much cheaper option.
