Review: Do yourself a favor, GET THIS MOVIE ASAP, prepare to LAUGH OUT LOUD for the next hour & a half!! - If you like Impractical Jokers TV series, or you like to laugh in general, then PLEASE Do yourself a favor, GET THIS MOVIE ASAP!! Take a break from your daily stresses & LAUGH OUT LOUD for the next hour & half. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! I can watch this OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER again! If I could give it more than 5stars I would! With SOOOOO many comedies out there, this is definitely at the top of my list of favorites, and undoubtedly one of the BEST comedies, which ACTUALLY makes you laugh OUT LOUD, that have been made in a VERY LONG TIME. My Review- I wasn't sure how they would make a movie out of pranks, so, without giving away any spoilers -THEY DID-! They made a movie, with a storyline, and it is PHENOMENAL! The acting is surprisingly great, and the story line is sooo silly, yet HILARIOUS and absolutely works! My family and I, ALL had several OUT LOUD belly laughs, we even had to pause the movie a several times, because I couldn't stop laughing. My family and I were already MASSIVE Impractical Joker fans, and in order to give ourselves a little getaway from the horrible stuff in the every day news, we ALWAYS watch reruns of the Impractical Jokers TV Show, EVERY night before bed, so that we can go to bed laughing; however, now we alternate with watching the tv series and watching this ridiculously FABULOUS movie.

“Just go with it”
I had trouble getting through the first ten minutes. It was a little entertaining, but felt forced. I don’t know if they tried too hard to sell the backstory or that they can act but it just doesn’t have the same spirit as the (sometimes) hidden camera prank show. I remember seeing they went out of their way to keep the plot or stuff happening in the movie under wraps. The WSY podcast comes to mind, they didn’t want to reveal much in the trailer, etc. So, I won’t spoil any of the “plot” When you do a movie of a show like this, where they’re feeding off their marks/victims/stranger’s reactions it seems tricky. I feel like Jackass nailed that in their movie(s) and they didn’t try to do some over exaggerated or goofy: “you’ve had a look into our lives through the series, enough to know us a bit.. But just for the sake of cinematic gold, this is how we really are!” You’ll get what you expect, maybe it just doesn’t transfer well to movie form. The series doesn’t work with a plot, or these guys acting. Just my thought, I enjoyed it but it felt too hammy when just about any of them was acting. It just didn’t feel genuine. Just to be clear, I am a fan of the franchise and their show(s). Love the hell out of them, if you’re also a fan I strongly suggest you give it a chance either way. You might really like it. Like plenty others the pandemic stopped me from going to see it. I’m not holding my breath for a sequel. The series is leagues above this film.

Fantastic skits, story stinks
The skits are some of their best stuff, the story is pretty bad. Loved the movie anyways, but I expect some will be disappointed.

Hilarious movie!!
If you are an old time fan of the good ol' Illogical Jesters, or maybe even don't know them, then I'm telling ya you will have a blast with this movie! It for sure delivered on all the laughs, giggles, and squirts I wanted from it, plus even a little story involving them trying to meet a celebrity they embarrassed years back! If you like the show, this movie is a no brainer! It's just a great time in general too and I would recommend it 100% if someone just wants to have a good laugh!

Not Worth the $19.99
I'm a big fan of the Impractical Jokers on TV. Their show is such a simple concept, but the guys' personalities and relationship with each other is what makes it so great... it's genuine and unrehearsed, so it is naturally funny. BUT, this movie is the opposite. Although it has a couple of genuine moments... 95% of it looks rehearsed and over-acted. I hate saying this about these guys, but it was truly a disappointment. I wish Amazon gave refunds for bad movies. If you've seen some of their standup or other attempts at a 'show' that is not like their reality based hit, this movie is worse. Rotten Tomatoes has this rated at 36%, I should have checked first. I'm sure this won't phase the Jokers... because it's money in their pocket... but I hope that they understand their strong suit, and build on what makes them great... and stop trying so hard.

Hard to watch
I'm a big fan of the Impractical Jokers, but I found myself struggling to finish the movie. The challenges were funny, as always, but the rest of the premise, acting, and execution was cringe-worthy. It felt like something my High School student body would have filmed for an assembly skit 20 years ago. ...so not unwatchable, but a bit of a chore to get through. Sorry Jokers. I love you guys, but maybe you need to hire fewer yes-men. Someone should have told you this idea wasn't good enough before you went through the trouble of making it. Ir should have been quashed or revised heavily in the brain-storming/planning stages.
