I’m no expert on gaming but this controller works well with Apple TV.

Like so many of the existing purchasers/reviewers my controller also stopped working. I was at first impressed, it connected to my Apple TV 4K without any problems and worked well for the few games I had opportunity to play. Unfortunately two days ago we noticed the controller light up of its own accord. It would not connect to any device and none of the buttons would work. Today the light has finally gone off. I have tried charging and connecting to my Mac with the Steelseries Engine application installed, still nothing. This controller is plagued with problems and not what you would expect for the price. Will have to return for a refund. UPDATE! After leaving for a further 24 hours I tried connecting the controller to various different leads and finally got it charging once more. The previous issues with bricking appear to have resolved themselves and the controller is working well again. For now I have revised my review to 3/5 and will continue monitor and update. Update: 21/12/21 Has again stopped working. After weeks of disconnections today it would not turn on at all. Have tried connecting to various chargers but nothing is happening, no lights, no charge. Really, really poor for the price. It's comfortable and has great battery life when working properly but the quality is not what I expect. If it does not miraculously start working again after being dead for a further 24 hours then I will have to return it for a refund or replacement.

Ok, so it’s a mixed bag. I mainly use it with Apple TV, but it has been used with iPad Pro. The Good: It’s a nice enough controller, and feels quite good in the hands, although the joysticks could be more grippy. Your thumbs easily slip off the tops, meaning you need to apply more pressure, which is not ideal. Generally though, it is quite good to use, and is fairly accurate and responsive. The battery life is excellent, and it recharges very quickly. The Not so Good: It does drop the connection, on occasion, quite randomly. Often picking it back up again without you doing anything. Not ideal. Depending on the game, the game can then freeze. Again, not ideal. The Bad: Build quality is clearly shocking. We are now on our third controller, as the first two developed a fault, where they would ‘walk’. That is, with no user input, your character or pointer would just move on its own. That’s really bad. Really really bad … The first walked to the left, the second walked to the right. All on the left joystick I’d say … that’s usually the one for ‘movement’. With the first one, I just bought another. Maybe it was me or my son. Maybe we were too rough with it? I mean I don’t think so, but … and because we delayed, we went past the 1 year mark, so it was too late. The second one didn’t even last 3 months! No way… I spoke to Amazon, and despite trying to use the SteelSeries Engine to update it (it was having none of it, despite ‘seeing’ the controller … nothing to update as it turns out!) they eventually agreed to replace it. That arrived today, so let’s see. But 2 controllers have developed similar faults in just over a year. That’s very bad build quality. It’s probably the switches. On the first controller, you can see that it also no longer gives ‘full power’ (you can see this in the power meter in What The Golf?, and it’s apparent when your character moves very slowly in the affected directions, then zooms along in the directions that are fine). A friend has the original (?) Nimbus, which is much much older, and it’s STILL going strong … That’s build quality. Overall: AVOID When it works, it works well enough, but for the price you pay, you expect it to continue working. Neither controller has had a hard life, yet both have developed faults. SteelSeries most definitely need to increase the quality of the parts, as you only have to read a few other reviews to see I’m not the only person to have experienced faults. Sadly, this means it’s an avoid. If you can, find another product. That’s a shame, as when it works it’s good, but it doesn’t take long for y to stop working, and that’s unforgivable.

Very responsive, however it does feel very cheap which is odd for steelseries. However for the price its decent. Wouldn't use regularly if want it to last.

I use the product on my ipad with the Nvidia GeForce now service and was quite pleased to see that it works (tried it with Beam NG Drive and Half Life II). Unfortunately it won’t work with GeForce Now on my MacBook (but it works on the MacBook with native games). Not the fault of the controller though. But it’s well made, easy to set up and sturdy.

Iv'e had this controller for well over a year now and this is my take of the Nimbus + A good controller but not the most durable. I say this as I've had 3 of these controllers in the past year. All because after about 4 or 5 months of using it regularly, it always began to fail in some way. Most often, I had problems with the joysticks as the would stick and therefore hindering movement and camera angles. Charging was not always consistent and it would lose connection for no reason a fair bit. To be fair to Steelseries, every time I contacted them with the issues, they were quick to repsond and issue replacements after the troubleshooting methods failed. If you only want a controller for casual use with your iPhone or iPad games then its worth it otherwise for the more series gamers out there I don't think this is going to cut it and you'd be better off looking at more heavy usage controllers like ones on Console.

Hands down the best iOS controller if you don’t have an Xbox or PS one handy. The phone mount is a bit odd how the wire bits hold it in, feels a bit of an afterthought but otherwise a solid piece of kit. Couldn’t get the iOS app for it to recognise the controller, but haven’t needed to tweak anything.

Hasta el momento me ha salido muy bueno con el iPhone, con el Apple TV no es tan Bueno, no es compatible con muchos juegos

Prijs kwaliteit is prima van deze gamepad, echter is hij niet draadloos te gebruiken op een windows PC en werkt enkel met een kabel. Daar wilde ik hem voor gebruiken dus dat werkt helaas niet. Dus alleen draadloos geschikt voor android en bekabeld voor een windows PC. Dit stond voor mij niet duidelijk vermeld.

Apple Tv’de oyun oynamak için aldım. İstediğim gibi. Şarjı da uzun süre gidiyor.
