This life jacket more than likely deserves full 5-stars however I've only given it 3 stars, why you might ask, then I will tell you. It's extremely well made and coming from a well-known and trusted manufacturer (CREWSAVER) however unfortunately I don't feel safe wearing it because I'm unable to test it without spending about £27 for a new CO2 cartridge, because in the instruction manual that came with the life jacket it states only use crewsaver CO2 cartridges and they're expensive. So to me it feels like driving a car and not knowing if the brakes work or not until you need to use them. In my opinion it's such a shame that a spare CO2 cartridge is not included with the life jacket, so it can be tested for the piece of mind of the owner in this case me. I have to mention that crewsaver do have an excellent reputation and their life jackets are used all over the world, and I'm sure this life jacket will probably work fine in an emergency. However there is still that doubt in the back of my head everytime I put it all on. So would I recommend this jacket, Yes BUT only for people who have enough money to purchase a spare CO2 cartridge at the same time so they can test it.
