These work well with my cell phone case and on our computers. They do not work with the case that I got for my tablet. With the number of apps that want to take advantage of your camera, I like the fact that I can control when my camera is available. They slide out of the way easily when not needed and they look a lot nicer then the little band-aid that my husband had on his computer.

The Elimoons web cam covers are a great idea to protect from undo spying. I have used tape in the past and it always comes off. These pieces stay put once adhered, just peel off the backing and press onto camera area. It stuck readily and I have had no issues. You also have the option of using or not using by sliding the middle piece back and forth. It is small and light weight. I like that is lays flat when you close the laptop so it does not interfere with functionality of the device. I also installed one on my tablet. It has a cover so it holds it in place when closed. You get 15 pieces in your order so you can cover all your devices and have some left over. Great idea for sure. Update: I have replaced the camera cover on my tablet twice because the sliding piece keeps coming off and getting lost. The base piece stays on though. Guess that's why you get a pack of 15 to just replace, but really annoying and defeats the purpose if I got to use the tablet and camera is uncovered. So I am taking a star off for this flimsy item.

These little webcam covers are ingenious, and certainly beat my taped-over method! I first applied one to my Chromebook webcam, and it couldn't have been easier. After removing the blue backing protecting the adhesive, I simply applied the opened portion of the cover where I wanted it and firmly pressed it on. I chose to apply it with the little window portion open so that I could ensure that no part of it would be blocking the camera. A simple light-touch slide of my finger closed it with no dragging, and again to open it. It is so slim, that it doesn't interfere when I close my Chromebook. The cover actually looks nice on my Chromebook, like it's supposed to be there. The small footprint of these covers mean that I can apply them to many of my other devices without worrying about overhang. While I love the convenience of having a webcam on my smart devices, I hate the creepiness of it (hence the tape-over method from before). These little covers make ensuring I have my webcam privacy, while still having the ability to access the camera whenever I want with just a slide of the finger. Even though it's not advertised as such, I've also put one on the front-facing portion of my smartphone, and surprisingly, it *just* fit above my viewable portion of the phone, lining right up at the top of the display, (but I wouldn't expect it to work with every type of phone). I have 2 cameras on the outer portion of my phone, so I don't think I can find a way to make it work for that area. I plan on putting these on my other smart devices with cameras/webcams on them as well. I love the sleek, ultra-thin design of these and the ease of putting them on and opening/closing them. Overall impressions: Terrific idea, extremely useful, super-easy to attach, great ease of use and works exactly as advertised. I'm very pleased with practical and useful little covers and feel great about protecting my webcam and camera privacy with such ease and much better than my previous method. Thanks for reading!

Immediate lesson learned. I can and should have just used a piece of tape over my laptop camera. I opened these blockers and the first one broke or bent in half while working to apply. The second one fell off because I had for a split second touched the adhesive side. I have a third one on there now that is sticking well. What's the point though? If they were adhesive and had just a LITTLE bit more weight to them I would find the value here. But given how cheap and terrible they are made I don't understand why anyone would invest in these versus the tape trick or whatever other less expensive and more valuable idea one has to cover the camera on their laptop or other digital device.

I have a very small space on my screen where the camera is, and many of these camera covers are just too big for it. This one fit perfectly over my camera and still fit on the black space of my screen. The cover slides easily over the camera. It's definitely worth adding these to maintain your privacy.

Privacy is something that we should all be aware of. It's incredibly simple to hack into somebody's computer over a Wi-Fi network and have access to the camera. This make sure that at least there is no way for a hacker to see through your camera. The only thing that you need to be aware of is that sometimes, when you are installing it, you have a risk of blocking the microphone as well. You might have two cameras in the front. Sometimes this happens with cell phones. Regardless, this is a very affordable solution and is easy to install on almost any device. I took several before and after photos on two of my laptops. it's very cheap quality and it does not slide over, but rather you put and take off the small piece on top of the camera, which you will definitely lose. Would not recommend to anyone!
