Bought these after moving into my new apartment and using orthene because TikTok told me that would help if there was a possible pest infestation. Turns out there was no infestation but lord did the orthene leave the funkiest smell. Even when I vacuumed, swept, mopped with pine, vinegar, Clorox, or odorban the chemical odor of orthene was still trapped in my apartment. No airflow from the window or air purifier could get the underlying smell out. It was so bad I returned my shark vacuum because the smell was embedded. Eventually I went to TikTok for an answer and found this. I read the reviews and took a leap of faith. BUY THESES!! They work. If you’ve ever smelt orthene powder you know how bad it smells. Clorox couldn’t even get it out. This works so well. It’s not a cover up it gets the smells removed on a molecular level. Even in small spaces like closets and laundry rooms. My apartment now spells like a home. It last so long. I need to recharge mine in the sun for a reset but it still smells like cleanliness similar to the smell of clean fresh laundry without fake fabric softener just freshness. I ended up buying 2 packs of the large size for my mother to refresh her house. She loved it, she said it got all the trapped, stale air smell out. Her home is older so you know older homes trap odors and have linger smells she says the house is so fresh now!! We love it!!! So worth the money. I bought mine in September and it’s almost November and I haven’t recharged them yet but my home still smells good. My only regret is getting the mixed size. I don’t like the smaller size,they don’t do anything much in my opinion the larger size is a better buy.

I bought the 12-pack with 6-150s and 6-...50s? I got them because no matter how hard i tried to keep the litter box scooped, the ammonia smell still lingered. I put two 150s in the bathroom ...where I keep the box... 2 in my living room ...1 in the kitchen ...and 1 in my bedroom. I've got a small one in each trash can and rotate them in footwear as i rotate them on my feet. (slippers->shoes) My mother, who has a very sensitive nose(and brought the cat scent to my attention ...i guess i was used to it?), even appreciated them so much that she bought some for herself. She helps take care of horses and tracks their smells around with her in the car, i guess. These are DEFINITELY worth the cost, IMO. Particularly when they don't appear to just cover up the smells by putting more chemicals and/or 'better' scents into the air, but actually pull them out of the air and eliminate them(but not their sources, of course. heh). I'd read 1 or 2 reviews about a chemical smell with these things. I did not experience that at all. There was NO scent to them, as far as i could tell. All they did in my place was remove those smells that were already there. In fact ...i live in an apartment complex and this year there were a couple of people that decided it wouldn't be a problem for anyone if they smoked fish out in front of our building. I tended to leave the windows open as i went to work for the day and when i got home, my apartment reeked. Granted, smoked salmon isn't the worst smell in the world, IMO, but it can linger and set into upholstery/clothing/carpet and not everybody likes it. Anyhow, i closed the windows and a couple hours later BAM! No smoked fish smell. I started closing my windows before i left for work and it is no longer stuffy ...when not allowing fresh air to circulate... when i get home either, so i really think i am going to appreciate these this winter, as well. The next test is how long they last. So far, so good. I haven't moved them in weeks and they still seem to be working just as well as they were at the first. If they lose their effectiveness in another month(as has been noted in reviews), i plan to set them on the window sill for a dose of UV radiation to 'recharge'(also noted). I'll try to remember to update this review with the results at the time. All told, so far, this appears to be one of the best purchases i've ever made.

I bought these to replace others of the same brand that lasted for several years. I'm not sure if they work or not for there's no dramatic change, but they're a reasonable add to the cleaning routine. It's easy to re-activate them every month, usually outdoors but in some of the coldest months I can just put them in the strongly lit indoor windows.

I have purchased these bamboo charcoal bags. They work really well if you’re trying to rid the air of dampness or smoke or any impurity in the air. After placing them in my finished basement, where there was slight dampness in the air after placing them the next day, I smelled nothing absolutely nothing very impressed of this product, and I have recommended it to several people so far.

I was handed down 2 two gorgeous down filled matching couches. They were the perfect size and in perfect shape and the perfect color with one exception...they smelled mildly of CAT URINE! Enzymes didn't work, professional cleaning didn't work and then I remembered the beauty of charcole. I have a bionic nose that doesn't shut off. I stuffed the charcole bags in every nook and cranny - probably overstuffed the couches with 2 orders! I am here to tell you... IT WORKED ! ! ! To refresh the bags, put them in the sun. Love my couches, love the charcole bags. Very affordable, very effective, great quality. Couldn't be HAPPIER!
