This Scope Is Fantastic IN All Aspects !!!
I purchased the Anthlon Argos BTR Gen2 6-24X50 a few months ago. I needed an accurate well designed scope for my PCP Airforce Texan LSS .457 cal airgun. The scope is built tough but looks great. I bought it with MIL reticle and this scope is VERY accurate and holds its settings. The turrets have an audible indent on settings and has a user setting zero hold feature. But the Glass is fantastic inside of the scope. Edge to edge sharpness, VERY clear, and is still good in low light. This scope looks, feels, and acts like a 700.00 scope. Settings do not wander or change and this scope is built rugged. It would be a great scope for my Weatherby .257 Magnum for long distance shooting so wife said if I wanted to buy another one to just buy it. Actually I ordered one the day before 😮. I know my Weatherby will be happy . I have Anthlon scopes on my .22 Ruger Precision Rimfire and even though it is a Anthlon Neos Rimfire scope at a very low price. This scope is built like a quality scope and works and looks like a much costlier scope. I have Leupold on my Long distant Precision rifles, but keep an eye out for Anthlon as their warranty is lifetime too. Their optics are fantastic. I liked Nikon scopes for their optics but they quit rifle scopes. I do not have any monetary interest in Anthlon but check out their scopes and see the build quality and optics. Keep in mind that the Anthlon scope I am happy about is a mid level scope. They have a higher level scopes and very reasonable prices.

Great scope for the price range
I have been a Nikon fan for years. Now that they have stopped manufacturing rifle scopes I have become a Burris fan and I have played around with Vortex. I have watched a number of reviews on this scope and thought it would be good to try. I am not disappointed. The clarity of this scope is good but not excellent, With it probably close to clarity of a Vortex crossfire. Definitely better than Bushnell banner or other similar scopes. The target knobs are very tactile with positive clicks. The adjustments are accurate with 10 clicks up and 10 clicks down returning to zero. Eye relief is good at about 3-1/2”. That is plenty for most rifles. Mine came with scope caps. That’s something that scopes twice the price don’t offer. The scope is definitely built for a bench rifle. It is solid and heavy. For the price I would recommend for sure. However, if your budget allows, there are certainly some better option for twice the price.

Great optic for how cheap it is.
Great optic for only $250. Great for a 22lr or something. Glass is clear turrets are extremely tactile. Eyebox could be better.

Not perfect, but perfect for the price!
It's not a Nightforce, Trijicon or SWFA & you shouldn't expect it to be. But, for the price??? It's optically excellent (there's a little noticeable aberration beyond 16x but it's perfectly usable. The subtensions hold true, it dials repeatability, even with abusive up/down dialing, then coming back to zero. I can't imagine it's going to hold perfect zero through bumps & knocks, but it's a <$250 scope. What do you expect?! My only complaint, well...... minor niggle, is that the side parallax adjustment has noticeable play. It turns maybe 1/20 of a rotation before it begins to adjust, which throws off the distance markings. It's almost a none issue in use, however. I have mine on a Tikka T1x & in my opinion, it's the best value scope you could put on a 70/30 target/hunting rimfire.

Nice scope with some needed improvements
First off, Seller did not pack the scope very well & scope arrived with dented shipping & dented scope box. Luckily there was no damage to the scope. I was able to mount and try out this Athlon scope recently. Here are my findings: Pros: Well built, well designed & accurate. Doesn’t look or feel cheap. Glass is bright & clear even at max magnification Turrets have nice sharp audible clicks and the zero stop is a nice option to have I found Parallax to be accurate at different distances Has illuminated reticle but I don’t use this function Cons: Short Eye relief. I mounted this scope on a pic rail as far back as possible and eye relief was still short for me. Good thing I was able to adjust the LOP on my chassis to help alleviate this issue. Sadly, reticle is too thick (thicker than pictured imo). If you plan on shooting long distances (ie. >300 yards) at smaller targets above 18x magnification then this could be an issue since at higher magnifications, the reticle looks more like a SFP reticle. Overall, it’s a decent & solid scope for the price, but if you can deal with the cons then this scope might work for you.

What an amazing optic for the price!
Like most people, I bought this scope for one of my rifles. I'm afraid that I need to go find a new rifle just for this scope though. It completely outclasses my gun unfortunately lol. I'm not complaining by any means. For the price of this optic you get a whole heck of a lot on this thing! The perks and features are endless... FFP, illuminated reticle, MOA or MIL options, parallax adjustment, BIG open turrets that are super easy to dial on, it's all there on this thing and it's not skimping on quality and durability in any way. This scope has $1k quality and it's well under $300, you just can't beat it imo. I've always been a Leupold and Vortex guy, this is my first Athlon, definitely will not be my last. One of the best bang-for-your-buck items I've ever bought. HIGHLY satisfied with this product in every aspect possible. Not a single disappointment found so far.

Great for the $; MIL reticle isn't too cluttered either.
Extremely high quality for the price. Pretty clear even on its highest power. I find the MIL reticle useful too. I'd buy another if I needed another scope. Also easy to zero.

Great glass clarity & holds zero no matter what I've put it on so far. Mine is a MRAD scope & the sight tree is perfect.

I have 3 Athlon scopes... All 3 are great.. I just bought an Argos 6-24x50.. Mounted but haven't tried it.. The one down fall out of the box: huge extra large turrets.. Way larger than my other Athlons.. Tried 200 rnds through it.... Happy..
