Borderline Unusable Software
I received this and was initially fairly impressed with the phone itself - though my unit appeared to be used, it had fingerprints and was missing a few components (headphones, usb cable, sim tool) and plastic wrap.Seemed snappy, looked great, worked fine at first glance. Figured I'd just go with it.However, as I started to set it up for use the cracks started showing. It was FULL of bloatware, more than I've ever seen on a phone. 30+ apps. However, what was NOT on the phone, was any of LG software. There is no game center, so you can't use it as advertised as a gamepad on the lower screen. When I tried to update the software to see if that would fix it, that was when I was faced with the fact that there are no software updates for this phone. The carrier apparently is not pushing updates (at least to the US, though a VPN didn't help either). The second screen software has issues with several apps, and causes crashes. So what I'm left with is a phone that is out of date, no security patches, and pretty much only works as a single screen other than text messaging, youtube, email and the web browser. If it was half the price and had security updates, the phone itself doesn't seem too bad. But considering you can get a OnePlus 7T for cheaper, I am definitely returning this.

Sent it back
LG doesn't make cell phones anymore so buying one would be pointless

It’s decent, but was unexpected.
Decent phone, but when I ordered it, it came with a service provider that wasn’t in America and wasn’t compatible with my SIM card. Overall good phone though, very good battery life and decent face recognition, but the fingerprint reader was a bit dodgy.

Overall good.
The device is absolute bargin at this time of buy 550$ However there is a catch that deserved the 4 star not 5, the device doesnot come with the built in game pad option, you need to access through Claro service provider which is not supported where I live. So Its not a locked device but also cannot access all the features. Maybe there is a workaround if anyone would help I will be thankful. But the device is very nice and looks better in real live. Love it

No Android 10 available ever for this international version
This one here is international. What is not listed is the fact that it it not able to receive any more updates while in us. Claro is the old cell provider of device so it cannot be black listed in usa. But the problem is no Android updates for this so you will be stuck on 9 pie forever beware when buying this phone. Flashing on this device is impossible. The software is for lg up is not compatible so flashing to usa Carrier or unlocked us software is impossible. Don't waste $589.00 just spend the extra cash to get a usa version.

Does not have VOLTE
I got this for my wife in 2020 and in 2022, my carrier is telling me it is no longer supported due to not having voice over LTE (VOLTE). it is also not a US phone. This phone came from Claro (from a Latin country, not sure which). Do not buy.

Good Try, LG (Just Not Good Enough)
I love LG as a brand. They make the best OLED TVs, and their LCD TVs are decent quality for very awesome prices, and they also make very good IPS monitors. I have owned 4 OLED TVs, 3 LCD TVs, and 3 monitors over the years, and besides the very cheap LCD TV which I deserved what I paid for, everything was high-quality and top-notch. I have also owned a washer before, and now I have a 2-in-1 combo washer/dryer which for some reason no companies bring to the US, but is pretty much the norm in Asia. To be honest, all the cool tech are in Asia. Companies make bolder decisions and try more out-of-the-box products there. Anyways, I have also owned about 10 LG phones over the years, starting from clamshells back in the early 2000's. But my very last LG phone was the V20 because by then, there were no more innovation and nothing to make me loyal to the brand, besides the awesome DAC found in the V series phones. They didn't make bold decisions anymore, like curved-edge screens or OLED panels, etc. Although the ultra-wide camera was their idea from way back, and now Samsung is stealing all that thunder and making like it was from them that other companies started including that. Remember, you owe the ultra-wide camera trend to LG.Anyways, so I wouldn't have even bought this camera if I didn't find it on sale for $450, because frankly, at even $600 new I wouldn't have bought this phone. Just the phone itself is quite a decent phone, with an OLED screen and excellent performance. However, LG has fallen so far off the radar that doing something just that is not good enough anymore. Just look at Sony. Their new Xperia I Mark II series phone has a revolutionary camera set-up, and no one is batting an eye because they too have fallen far off the map. Nowadays, besides Samsung and Apple(and Huawei had China not turned into such a fascist state), small companies such as Oppo, Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc. are only making marks because not only do they try things no other companies are doing, but they first got in the game buy making the prices cheap. Now that they got in the door, they are raising their prices, which is fair because their quality is now proven. However, once-established companies are now facing the problem in reverse - they can no longer rely on their brand name to justify their prices. Consumers no longer care about the companies' image(especially young consumers who even more so voice their opinions through their wallets), so a $1200 Sony phone and a $800 LG phone just aren't going to fly anymore.Actually, for $800, this LG phone MIGHT have worked, with their shortcomings as a faux foldable phone and all, had the dual-screen component been practical. The dimensions of the phone itself are fine - not too big. But once you put it into the dual-screen case, the added bulk and weight makes you not want to use it anymore. It adds about a centimeter all around, to the height, width, and girth, and feels like another pound more. I know the case needs some circuitry for the accessory screen to work, but if this is the final implementation, then it just simply is not good enough. It is not ready for the spotlight, not ready for primetime. This feels more like an experiment(which it isn't since the V60 now also has it as well). The nicest thing I can say is, get this phone if you work from home and have a nice desk to sit and work at. Because I did not want to carry it around or put it in my pockets. The dual screen functionality is only to use two apps at a time. You cannot extend it to one big screen, which is a big letdown. So although the extra app idea is a bonus, in execution, I found out that I rarely needed or wanted it. Holding it with the extra screen attached always felt like you were holding two contraptions. With all its faults, even the lowly ZTE Axom M felt like a whole phone. The only saving grace is you can use it as a stand for hands-free use for when viewing YouTube, movies, etc. I have tried this in the shower with a Cold Fusion or Company Man YouTube videos, and that was a good experience. However, because the actual phone half of the screen is much thicker and heavier than the extra screen portion, you can only set it down with the extra screen side up, which defeats its use solely as a stand, and thus you need to have both screens on for it to be used as a stand.Do you remember the Nintendo 3DS? Well, this phone in more ways than one reminds me of that. Overall, a good try, but in the end, like the 3D functionality, it is no more than a gimmick you rarely used, and end up only using the phone by itself. I always try to stand up for LG. I always feel like it's always looked down upon as the inferior younger brother, to the shiny sibling on a pedestal that is Samsung. If prices and features were simliar, I would try to choose in favor or LG over other brands. However, in this case, I cannot recommend this phone. The cameras are really good, the OLED screen is bright, saturated, and beautiful, the tiny waterdrop notch makes the screen almost completely all-screen, and the phone is zippy and feels just like any other flagship 2019 phone. However, in a sea of the current phone climate, nothing about it stands out. To be honest, I think the G line needs to be put to pasture to retire. It's time for LG to move on to cheaper phones and win back the hearts of consumers who have since moved on to other phones. Otherwise, I feel they will be another Nokia or Microsoft, and will soon be completely irrelevant in the phone space. I really want LG to be back in the game, but this is not it. However, the recent news of its rollable phone patents sound delightfully scrumptious, and I can't wait to see some actual renders. This might be finally be the "it" phone LG so desperately needs. Good luck, LG!If this was a standalone phone for $600, I would give it three stars. With the dual screen for another $200, I cannot give it more than two stars. If you can find it(with the dual screen) used in "Very Good" or better condition for under $500, then it deserves three stars.
